How’s your week going?

Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening everyone. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Just want to check in and see how you all are doing. I know life can be difficult and overwhelming at times and we need a mental escape here and there and I always believed that check up on others goes a long way.

For me, work has been so demanding this week but I’m choosing to smile and have a peace of my mind by diving back into reading. Thanks Charles Harris lol

But how is everyone doing?

Hey buddy, sound like you've been busy. Hang in there mate, the weekend doth approach! And there are simply so many books to take you to fantastical faraway lands or remarkable events.

My week has been ok. Work and kids. With the odd read thrown in. I'm continuing to edit the second draft of my next novella (*PLUG ALERT*). Finding the time continues to be tricky. Only this evening I was trying to get through a paragraph when my youngest kept demanding my attention. I can confirm that wiping a child's bottom mid-edit is a great way to lose your train of thought.

I'm still working my way through 'Consider Phlebas', by Iain Banks. Enjoying it and can't wait to find out how it ends.

Kids lol. I totally understand the mental demand writing takes and as I got older I further understand why authors go on retreats to mentally get away lol. But when will your novella be coming out? Any timetable as of yet? I’d like to support you and purchase it! I always like to see new creative works from people.

Thanks, Brian, I'm aiming for October time. I'll keep you posted. I usually make my work free at points during the year so I'll tell you when one of those periods comes up. Save you a few quid.
