Hey Kristy...I've finished A Lady of the West and The Viscount Who Loved Me. Going to also read Absolutely, Positively next. Thanks for all the great recommendations!

~KarenH~ | 11348 comments Hey Penney!

I've managed to finish 3 of your recommendations so far.

1. Branded by Fire, which was a reread and I enjoyed it every bit as much this time as the first time through.

2. Master of the Abyss - I read the first book in this series a long time ago and was very anxious to read Jake's story, but somehow never seemed to get around to it...thanks for the push, I really liked it a lot!

3. Cross & Crown - I'm actually growing to love Nick & Kelly almost as much as Ty & Zane! I hope there are going to be more in this series, because it was a lot of fun!

I started Redneck Romeo this morning, and with a little luck I might even get through one more after that, but I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks for the great picks!

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I read Talk Me Down and thought it was a lot of fun. A bit predictable but still totally fun.

Hi Larissa!

I read Just the Sexiest Man Alive.

I loved it! :)

It was kind of cheesy and at times a little over-the-top. But I devoured it in one sitting. I just adored the chemistry between the two main characters and I was entertained from start to finish.

Thanks for the recommendation. This wouldn't have been on my radar if you hadn't picked it for me :)

I am so glad you loved it! Definitely cheesy but I totally agree with you about the chemistry!

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments I finished Uncertain Magic by Laura Kinsale and really enjoyed it, like I do all of Kinsale's books.

Tania, thanks for a really fun format :)

Ty | 1943 comments Hey Karen!

Long time, no see. ha.

I was able to read Divide & Conquer (Cut & Run, #4) by Abigail Roux this month. Loved the developing relationship btwn Ty and Zane. HATED the ending, which I'm sure everyone else did. Much as I wanna dive into the next book, I think I will probably read Warrior's Cross first to get some background on the secondary characters. Plus, Ty and I need some space... (get it?? Ty & Ty?? harhar)

Hi Ashley :) Bummer that none of them were winners for you! Seeing the covers in a row made me laugh though. Tough chicks all missing their heads :P

MountainKat | 31599 comments Hi Stacie! I've finished three of my picks and loved them all! I've read:

Revenant by Larissa Ione
Never Enough by Lauren Dane
Blood Magick by Nora Roberts

All were at least 4 stars! Thanks for the great picks! I don't think I'll get to more in March, but I do have at least one of them penciled in for April. =)

Finished Wallbanger and liked it way more than I expected it's been on my TBR for a while so thanks. I was glad I had a window seat on the plane though so I could tilt my kindle. Whoa!

Nancy H | 1111 comments Sadie,
I have finished my second pick for the month, and will be reading more from your list of picks - just not by the end of the day tomorrow! The second one I finished was Scots on the Rocks, and although I have really wanted to read it for a while, I was disappointed in it. I love this author's books, but this one was disappointing. I was glad I read it, though, and got it out of the way so I can move on with more of her series.

Thanks for a great list. I will definitely be reading more of them in the future.

message 166: by LaurLa (new)

LaurLa | 5085 comments Hi Pam - I only got to one book this month:
Deep Dish by Mary Kay Andrews - 03.30 ★★★

I wanted to love this book. I really liked the heroine, Gina, and I wanted to like Tate but I just couldn't like him or love the book because of it. I think there was a lot of potential but I never really felt the romance and my anger at Tate pretty much meant that I left the book angry. Mostly angry at the author because I felt she failed both Gina and Tate's characters. Gina because she ended up being the one to grovel when it really should have been Tate. She failed Tate because he WAS a good guy who made a couple of bad decisions but because he never atoned for them (IMO), I couldn't like him. And so I was overall disappointed in the romance of the book. There were a lot of things I did like - the premise, them being chefs, the contest idea but because of the problems with the romance, this was really just a meh for me. If I think about it too hard, I might actually downgrade to 2 stars, so I better stop...

message 167: by Kaity (new)

Kaity | 492 comments Hi Ramneek! Ugh... I had the worst kind of reading slump this month. I was reading a book I really liked but felt like doing everything except read! This last week of March has been better but I had to push through some non-renewable library books and didn't get to finish any of your picks for me. I did just start Sweet Evil though and I'm enjoying it! :) I've got all your picks written down and I hope to have time for them soon.

message 168: by Larissa (new)

Larissa (rissareadsromance) | 317 comments Hi Ty! I only got to one book but I want to read a couple of the new books you suggested! I'd happened to read Willing Victim by Cara McKenna the last day of February. lol

Surviving Raine (Surviving Raine, #1) by Shay Savage 5* This had been on my TBR for awhile and I am glad you suggested it!
Thank you!

message 169: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new)

~KarenH~ | 11348 comments Hi Penney,

I finished Redneck Romeo a week or so ago - I love that series and I'm sad to be getting close to the end of it!

I also managed to squeeze in one more...finished Texas Pride on the 30th, and other than some editing and continuity errors, I really enjoyed it. This was my first book by this author, but I have another on my TBR and I think it just jumped a bit higher on the pile!

Thanks again for the great picks!

Mandy

Thank you so much for my picks this last month. I finished two of them, though I really read three as I finished Duck Duck Ghost right at the end of February, pretty much while picking was going. :)

1. Tomfoolery ★★★★
5. Duck Duck Ghost ★★★★★
8. The Mane Event ★★★★½

They were all really great picks. :D
