Good Reads SORTING

Hey y'all, I have been noticing lately that people have 821939 books in their "currently reading" and I am wondering WHYYY.
I just started putting my Netgalley ARC's in my currently reading, to try to motivate myself to get through those, and off that list.
How do you sort all your books on GR?

I’m fixing to create a new shelf just for my ARCs so they don’t get lost in the shuffle. Maybe even one for series I’ve not finished yet.

well, I personally think I have a pretty minimalistic one. aside from the shelves made by the app, I have one for the shatter me series. I put books I wanna read in want to read, books I'm currently reading in its folder and same goes to books I've read. so far I didn't feel the need to dnf any book so unless I do, there won't be a folder for that

Maybe they have their good reads linked to their kindle? if you open up a book in kindle it automatically moves it to currently reading, even if you just open it by accident when you are downloading it. I often have to go back to the app and delete things out of my currently reading for this reason.
