For B8, a question about pseudonyms. Will Ruth Rendell's Barbara Vine books count for "Barbara"?

Barbara Vine works, but not Ruth Rendell. The author name as published is where these squares are going. (Both also work for O68 by the way.)

For B7, "Best Books," some of my choices have ratings of 4.0x now, but that could change, right? What date should we use for the rating? Should we "lock" it in with a message to this thread? Thanks.

Thanks. My first planned Bingo doesn't use B7. For the next set of five choices, Sense and Sensibility might be a pick and it is rated 4.08 today, so I would like to "lock" it in. Same with Snow Flower and the Secret Fan - 4.08 today.

and, for B3, do longlist nominees count, or is it limited to shortlist nominees?

For B13, that won't work because it won for The Rooster -- The Morning News Tournament of Books. The book for B13 must never have won an award.

For B3, yes, all nominees, both longlist and shortlist work, so your Klara and the Sun works there.

For Bingo boxes with links, must the books be on the linked list? For instance I believe that The Bronze Bow by
Elizabeth George Speare will work for B4 Historical Fictions and Reynard the Fox: A New Translation will work for B11 - Rooting for the Bad Guy .

Of course I understand for the Book Awards like The Booker Prize or Boxall's that the book must be on the actual list.

The genre links are meant for help only. On all of those pages are links to shelves, lists, etc. Your book is there!

Specific lists like Banned Books, Rooting for the Bad Guy, Guardian 1000 would be like the award links and should be on the links.

For the book I tried to post at Post 619 on the completions thread... I thought I had seen it on the provided list...but I can no longer see past page 25. My book (if it is on that list) would probably be after page 25 since it is shelved twice as a banned book....that is where page 25 of the list ends.https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...

When I try to get page 26 or any other page I get "Yarr, the page you requested can’t be charted on any known map." even though there are supposedly 78 pages. Any insight as to what's happening here?

Shucks. I forgot that I had changed that link to the genre. It started out being a list.

Just now I looked at the "more shelves" link on the book's MPG and find banned books there, so you're OK with your B12 claim. I did think with your outside link that it didn't have a banned books connotation here at Goodreads.
