thank you for making this thread for us! I haven't started yet, but I plan on reading some today

Ch 1-3 : (view spoiler)[ALL i can imagine while reading this book is the movie lol. I have watched it so many times that with every line I read, I could vividly imagine Bella and Edward's expressions in those scenes in the movie. I can't believe i used to love this stuff. But since I've never read the books, I thought to give them a try. So far, Nothing spectacular or different from the movie happened but let's see (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 4 : (view spoiler)[Yeah, I don't remember the movie as much as I thought and I found this chapter quite decent. I am trying hard to not let the actors' images come to my head while reading and so I am able to enjoy it! (hide spoiler)]

I'm excited to see someone's take who has never read this series. If you enjoy it and want to read the rest, I'm planning on reading all of them.

But, I'm slowly catching up. Just finished chapter 2. It's neat to read this after Midnight Sun.

I forgot how much I disliked the cafeteria conversation. so awkward. lol

Chapter 6 and 7 were a little tough to get through. Slightly mundane but with some good information. I wish Bella's character wasn't already so dependent on Edward. I can understand excitement and disappointment of not seeing him though.

I completed till Chapter 8!

If I have to choose I'll probably go with Edward lol, my teenage self was obsessed with him! IKR! Bella is like ....ok do whatever with me Edward. I forgot these people are just like 15-16 and it is slightly awkward for me at 25 to read this book atm!

If it makes you feel better, I'm 27. lol I feel like Twilight is good entertainment, not to be taken seriously. I get a good chuckle when watching the movies with my mom. If I had to choose, I'm also Edward. haha

I enjoyed the books when I was younger. A funny reviewer, Dominic Noble, breaks down the books. He does a really good thorough review.

I'm a little behind but just finished 9 and 10.

I definitely feel like their "relationship" is moving way to fast. I can't remember later books but they don't have much chemistry and the fact that they're already arguing about who likes who more is odd.

I see foreshadowing for New Moon, so at least their characters are consistent.

I'm ready for Alice to get thrown into the mix. She's my favorite, haha
