I liked The Rachel Incident a lot.

Patricia Lockwood has a similar cutting and evocative writing style, though Rooney is more buttoned up compared to Lockwood's laugh-out-loud humor. Lockwood's most recent book, "No One is Talking About This," received praise from Rooney, whose words appear on the cover jacket :-)

Naoise Dolan's "Exciting Times" seems to remind people of Rooney, although I don't fully agree. Let me know what you think!

Oh I heard about that one an I really wanted to read it but again - it's not available in polish. BUT maybe I'll try reading in english because this book is screaming to me "read me".
