Alisa walked into the forest to try and get everything off her mind. ‘Why did Tessa do that? Her family needs her too. Why did it have to be my name pulled out of everyone I only put it in once?’

August was out hunting. It's been a long time since he's been this close to District 12. It was his brother's death anniversary, and this area had better game anyway.

He heard footsteps and stopped suddenly. He saw a girl, who looked younger than him.

"Hey!", he called out, hiding his knives behind his back, just in case this girl was a threat.

[River]

((Of course!!)) Alisa heard the shout in front of her, and looked up drawing her bow. "Who are you and what do you want?" She said fiercely.

August shrugged. Barely more than a child.

"Just out for a stroll...", he says.

[River]

"I've never seen you here before. Who are you?" She said still not trusting him.

[Kagehina_Lover (〃＾▽＾〃), Team Finnick]

"My name is August. You?", August asked.

[River]

"Alisa... How do I know I can trust you?" She said lowering her bow only slightly.

[Kagehina_Lover (〃＾▽＾〃), Team Finnick]

August revealed the knives he was hiding behind his back.

"Well, if it makes you feel any better, I was from here, and I was just out hunting.".

[River]

"What do you mean from here?" She said lowering her bow fully.

[Kagehina_Lover (〃＾▽＾〃), Team Finnick]

"I mean exactly what I said. I'm was from District 12. I'm not anymore.".

[River]

"But how were not allowed to go out of our districts unless..." She trailed off

[Kagehina_Lover (〃＾▽＾〃), Team Finnick]

"Unless you're chosen for the games, right?", August asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It's either that, or we ran away.".

[River]

"Yes, but how did you not get caught running away?"

August tilted his head.

"I suppose I'm very, very stealthy.", he says. He wasn't telling a random girl anything vital.

"Mmm" She said sitting on the grass not understanding why she was telling a runaway anything.

August sat down beside her.

"So, why are you here? It couldn't have anything to do with The Hunger Games, could it?", he asked sarcastically.

(( Yeah, long enough for them not to be frequently mentioned ))

((Alright the reason I was wondering is because I thought you were goign to say you won in the past and I was going to say if so, 'I though only Katniss Peeta and Haymitch were the only winners from district 12))

"My friend actually just volunteered for me." She said tearing up a little.

"Oh...I'm sorry for your loss. Do you...want to talk about it?", August asked, feeling a bit awkward and sad.

"I mean if you want..." She said not knowing where to start.

"It'll help...", August says.

"What are you doing here in the woods? Are you running away?", he asks.

[River]

"No, coming out here to hunt, I do it all the time, its how I help my family, which is why my friends volunteered for me, she couldn't stand to see my family lose anymore kids to the stupid Hunger Games..." She said throwing a rock out of her anger.

[Kagehina_Lover (〃＾▽＾〃), Team Finnick]

"The Capitol really need to be taught a lesson, huh?".

[River]

"What're you insisting...?"

[Kagehina_Lover (〃＾▽＾〃), Team Finnick]

"Someone needs to stand up to the Capitol. They're sending innocent people to fight to the death for their entertainment. They've sent my brother. They've sent your friend. They've sent countless other children. I'm insisting that you join my rebellion.".

[River]

"When do we start...?" Alisa said standing up with a vengance.

[Kagehina_Lover (〃＾▽＾〃), Team Finnick]

"My rebellion is still young, but we're planning on interfering with the coming Hunger Games. That's the one your friend will be in. We have ways to deceive the Capitol. Certain allies.", August replied.

"But joining means saying goodbye to everything you know and love. Your family and your home. It is temporary, but you'll be risking your life.".

[River]

"I'll do it to stop this monstrosity from happening ever again. So where do we go to start?"She said offering her hand to help him up. "I just need to get some stuff in a small sack from home and I'll be ready to go."

[Kagehina_Lover (〃＾▽＾〃), Team Finnick]

August took her hand.

"Of course. I'll come with you. I'll take you back to the rebellion's headquarters after.".

[River]

"Alright." ((wanna time skip and just start as if were back in the forest on the way to the rebellion?"

(( Yeah let's do that. ))

[River]

"So where exactly is this rebellion?" Alisa said adjusting the ruck-sack in her back.

"Underground. Hidden in a cave. It's not far from District 12.".

[River]

Alisa nodded as she followed him through the woods. "I don't think we've caught each others name yet. Mines Alisa, Whats yours?"

"My name is August. It's nice to meet you.".

[River]

"Same to you." Alisa said smiling realizing how happy she's been for a while.

August suddenly stopped, raising his hand and doing a circular motion with his fingers to the trees. A moment later, a hole opened up in the ground with a sharp wrench.

"There we go. It;s not much, but we're making a lot of progress.".

[River]

Alisa watched with wide eyes as she followed him down

"Right now, the biggest thing we have going on is a new ally. The mayor of District 4 had his son taken away for the Games this year, and he's close with District 3: technology. With their help, we have a chance of breaking into the Capitol.

Alisa nodded looking around in awe at everything "I hope Tessa's dpoing alright up there." ((rn shes at archery arguing with Kestrel

August walked up to a door. Behind it, they could hear voices.

"The mayors.", he whispered to Alisa, before opening the door.

[River]

Alisa nodded staying quiet and walking in with him

"Hello Mayor Eldridge. Mayor Finnigan. How are things going.", August asked, smiling.

"I want to get my son back as soon as possible.", Mayor Eldridge snarled.

"We found a way to disable the electricity ring around the Capitol.", Mayor Finnigan said.

[River]

Alisa watched amazed at how easily they talked, she stood next to August not saying anything

[Kagehina_Lover (〃＾▽＾〃), Team Finnick]

"And? We can do it just like that?", August asked.
"There's got to be a catch.".

The mayors exchanged glances.
"Well...", Mayor Finnigan said.
"There's a microchip that needs to be installed into a special device that is inside the Capitol...".

[River]

Alisa watched as the three conversed, lad she hasn't been spoken to yet

"Alright. I'll have that looked into. Thank you for your help.", August said, before giving the mayors a nod and walking out of the room.

"We need more than one person to handle that chip. I was wondering if you wanted to go with me.", August says to Alisa, once they were out of the room.

Alisa looked at him for a moment before nodding
