I was surprised by Lady Burwick's actions. I'm sure that she thought this was best for Helen. The whole situation spun out of control very quickly.
I understand the first meeting. Lady Berwick had to deliver Vance's request to Helen. Helen had the right to hear him out and then develop her strategy. Telling Vance that Helen was on the run was mean and selfish. Lady Berwick could have told Vance that Helen said she was meeting Rhys. It would have given her time to get away before Vance knew her plans. I don't know how she could put that little toddler in harm's way. As I said, mean, selfish, and unkind. These actions changed my opinion of Berwick. She is a woman who can't be trusted to think of anyone before herself, regardless of Kathleen's experiences.
I was liking Lady Berwick until she aligned with a man as miserable as Vance.
I’m with Sharon. I could give her the benefit of the doubt in arranging the first meeting. Perhaps she was unaware of the blackmail intent. But to sell her out like this was inexcusable. Everyone knows he’s a lowlife and for her to help him thwart Helen’s escape was awful.
No, she’s no longer trustworthy in my eyes. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more to the story about her taking care of Kathleen. All bets are now off.

I was very upset by Lady Berwick's actions. Vance was using his young daughter as a pawn in this game. Lady Berwick knew it and went along with it. She didn't care what happened to Charity. I wonder if Kathleen will be told about her actions.
I was upset by her actions also. The first meeting, maybe. But telling him that Helen was running away from him was horrible. I also wonder if Kathleen will find out what she did.
Me too. Kathleen will be conflicted most likely. Maybe Kathleen's relationship with Lady Berwick wasn't as loving as we thought.
