SOLVED. Possible Juvenile book or YA Fantasy about a Father and daughter that move into a house and the daughter visits this alternate dimension frequently. Spoilers ahead. [s]

I know what you're thinking, this book sounds a lot like Coraline. It does have a Coraline feel to it however, it is a different book. Bare with me my teacher read this book to my class around 10 or so years ago so my memory is foggy. This girl and her father moves into a new house (I can't remember if he is widowed or divorced). Odd things start to happen around the house, the girl see's into this mirror of her alternate self (or some sort of mirror self in a different dimension) and somehow enters this alternate dimension. There is a big tree like a tree of life, and this dimension somehow promises her the best life if she choses to stay (and switch with her alternate self maybe?). This dimension is evil and she was saved by a boy somehow. This dimension had something about an apple but I can't remember what. In the end she made it back home. I know the significant items were a tree, a mirror, and an apple. But everything else is very foggy. I cannot find this book for the life of me so If anyone has any clue as to what it is PLEEASEEEE help me :)))).
