Jackson | 7 comments Book review for the reader.
Safi lives a life of petty crime and is constantly on the move with her lockpicking expert aunt, Nin. But one day Nin is captured, and her kidnappers are after something called the book. Safi realizes that she has this object. She learns to read, finds a friend with a bloody past, and slowly learns what the book has in store for her. She dedicates her life to fight destiny, but if it is written then it shall come to pass…

I liked the twists and 3 dimensional charaters the book gave me. My favorite part about the trilogy was there were snippets of what will happen. Not enough to give anything away, but enough to keep you interested. Some parts didn’t make since, like how random charaters got random powers with no explanation. But that appears to be a part of the magic system.

Daymon Sanders | 6 comments Intriguing. I feel as though this review may need to go a little bit more in-depth but it has caught my interest and I might when i get a chance take a look at it.

message 4: by Taylor (new)

Taylor Norton | 5 comments I love crime books! This however seems like a big step up from your normal crime books though. I think I will try this book out and see how I like the fantasy element on top of my usual fiction crime books.
Thanks!
