Why does my book show "Goodreads Choice Awards Nominee" on Amazon?

Hi,

When I went to see my book on Amazon, it had the little tag on its cover that had the text on it.

I hadn't seen it before, and now I wonder what it means.

Does anybody know?

I see it was a Goodreads Award nominee back in 2010. Since Amazon owns Goodreads now, I'm assuming they decided to advertise that and discount your book at the same time to pull in potential buyers.
