Horror/supernatural book with a collection of stories about a mysterious island where time is isolated (SPOILERS)

I remember finding this book in 2017-2018 in the library under YA, but it DID NOT read like a young adult book. Despite being very weird and creepy, it was an awesome book to read.

The first short story is from the first person perspective of a boy who travels to the island that is the center of all the stories. I think that he went for a vacation, but is unsettled because his parents don't plan to leave. The residents are overly friendly and don't have very much independent thought. Other stories are from different narrators/perspectives and delve into topics like a sacrifice room on the island, the island as use for scientific experiments on animals (specifically I remember rabbits), and I believe there was a story where a pandemic destroyed one of the communities. I vaguely remember reincarnation being discussed. There were no happy endings I remember and each short story had varying degrees of quality, horror, and suspense.

The cover had strong black, white, and red motifs with a rabbit. A really weird book.
