Welcome to Dewey’s Readathon! There’s a whole smorgasbord of things to do, if you want to do them as well as read. There are short surveys about yourself and your reading to do at the beginning, middle, and end of the event. If you’re focussed on reading, the periodic reading sprints can be a nice change of pace. Bingo can be fun. There are hourly discussions and events here and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter that are open to everyone. There are hourly posts on the Dewey’s Readathon blog, too (I usually stick to Goodreads because one social media feed is all I can handle ;) but many folks do more than one.) Have fun and enjoy your reading!
When you get a chance, you might want to set up your own thread under the “For the Blogless” section so you can keep track of your reading there and even meet some of the other readers
i moved your thread to the "for the blogless folder," Heather. That is where all members post their threads where they track their reads, challenges, etc. The threads in the main readathon thread are posted only by admin or the people who are hosting an hour discussion

It finished yesterday, 24 hours after we started (8am EST, 2pm CEST)
Hope you had a wonderful time. See you back in August hopefully!

It does take awhile to figure the site out with so much going on—but the reading is the important part ;). Happy first Dewey’s Readathon!
You can use this thread for the next Readathon and keep track of your Readathons here if you want. That’s what many folks do, they just keep using the same Dewey’s Readathon thread and putting their status reports there. The moderators posted that the date for the next Readathon should be announced in the next week or so. Hope to see you next time. Enjoy the rest of your book!
Hi Bookworm. You're doing just fine. It's your thread. Will you be joining us this readathon this weekend. The hours are different, so a heads up if you join in. . . .And you can comments on other people's threads here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't we chatting in another one of your threads? Will look it up.
Anyways, hope you had a wonderful readathon! See you in October hopefully!

Oh well, it doesn't matter as long as we can chat with each other about our books and readathon activities :)
