Great book.. Copy was gold off memory, had a king or emperor who was in love with a witch. They were persued by an evil army back to his kingdom. There was a big battle and there ws ancient warriors risen to help the king... There was an final big battle with the evil witch / sorceress in the astral plane with just him and her.. Think involved some sort of orb too.
