Thank you for joining us this month, J.H.!
For everyone that joined in, please be sure to leave a brief review--or even star rating-- on Amazon. That REALLY helps the authors out in terms of getting their books noticed.
For anyone who may be interested, some other books I enjoyed by J.H. include Return to Dyatlov Pass, Those Who Came Before, City of Ghosts (this entire series, although the individual books can be read as standalone), and Book of The Dead: A spooky, fun witch adventure, to name a few... :)

Thanks, Char! Absolutely it was--I loved every minute of it, and am sad it's coming to an end.

Thanks so much, Hayley! And I'm so glad you enjoyed the book!
As for your question, honestly, no--but I wish I'd been that brilliant. That's an amazing idea! :D My characters basically run the show, but at my heart, I hate ageism and feel "older" people are capable of so much more than society gives them credit for. That's probably where it came from.
The timeframe was a bit problematic. Originally, she was a bit younger, but in order for the dates to line up, that had to change.

Thank you so much, Kimberly! The boost your encouragement and support has given me since my very first published book cannot be overstated. x
J.H. you are so incredibly kind, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to interact with us! Your books are phenomenal, I will have to read everything you have written now :) And I'm not even mad this story gave me nightmares, that's actually pretty cool ( I can say that now) haha!

One of the things I love about this group is finding new books and authors.
Off to get Return to Dyatlov Pass.
Thank you JH, for hanging out with us this month.
Hope to do it again soon.

I loooove Dyatlov Pass if you guys do a group read I will be re-reading it for sure :) After I read it I spend some time researching the events that happened in real life there, absolutely fascinating.

Thank you for joining the group this month, J.H.! It gave me the incentive to pick up something else from you.
I’m hoping to get to a non-fiction book about the Dyatlov Pass Incident before I pick up your story, and I still have 6 GhostWriters books to read before I can start Carol of Ghosts around Christmas.
Looking forward to it! 😊

You will absolutely LOVE the GhostWriters books! I still can't get the scenes out of my head from book one!

Aw, thanks so much, Kasia! You're awesome! I hope you don't mind, but my social media guru snapped up your nightmare quote to use on IG. :)

Thanks so much, Kevin! I hope you love that one too--I went through hell writing it. (The Ural Mountains in winter are not a pleasant place to be, even in one's mind.)
I'm happy to come back any time! This has been a blast.

I highly recommend Dead Mountain, except for the author's theory.

Thanks so much! You've been so supportive and awesome--I really appreciate it. I'll continue to flood IG with cat pics, just for you. x

Thanks so much again, Kim! You're such an awesome cheerleader.

Thanks so much, Anne. I'm glad I surprised you! The house really did seem to have a story of its own to tell, and I've always found people to be scarier than any ghost or monster. :)

Please keep in touch! I'm pretty active on my Facebook author page, IG, and TikTok, all under J.H. Moncrieff. Hope to chat books with you again! x

Ooh--those are some good things you picked up on! (view spoiler)[I always felt it was her connection to Miles--somehow they "fed" off each other in a sense. (hide spoiler)]
