The photos and receipts in Buzz’s file leads Tracy to look at the Four Ironmen, the stars of the 1976 Stoneridge football team. When she researched what they were all doing present day, it seemed that all but one had unremarkable careers since high school. Did you find that curious at the time or was it just information until you learned more?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments These guys went to the top of my suspect list as soon as they were mentioned in the story. One of their parents had a body shop which would be needed by the person who his Kimi with the truck. These guys were the heroes of the football team. Therefore, they would likely get special treatment from the cops if they thought they had anything to do with Kimi's disappearance. Saying that Kimi committed suicide made more sense when they wanted to cover up a murder.

They zoomed to the top of my list, too, especially when I saw how they’d struggled through adulthood. It was obvious something traumatic had happened. The photo the next day was also very telling. Only Eric seemed happy and they disbanded as a unit from that day forward. Not returning for reunions was another sign.

All I was missing were the details of what happened.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3484 comments I suspected them immediately too. Football jocks in a small town are kings. They can get away with murder.
