it a YA book about a lower class girl who earns a scholarship to a rich boarding school where she rooms with a girl. the school had a death of a popular girl which is the exact room the new girl lives in. new girl uncomfortably trys to fit in and is attracted towards a guy there at school who is also the ex boyfriend of the girl who died. the dead girl's spirit is still sorta around and sometimes takes over the body of her bff who is the girl that the new girl rooms with. at the end of the book there is a fire at the school killing the ex bf who ends up taking over the body of another student.
