Hello, I am currently searching for a book that I read as a soft-cover in around 2011, possibly earlier.
Some meta-infos: - Book was probably somewhat new at that time - Read it in german, there might be a chance it's not known internationally - I was 14-15 at that time, so it couldn't have been super complex - Must have owned (or borrowed?) it as a soft-cover
About the contents of the book: I remember there was a selected group of people that had the ability to do photosynthesis with their skin. I believe there was an emphasis on chlorophyll being in their blood. As a result, they had some slight superhuman capabilities. Nothing supernatural, mostly increased strength and resistances. A lot of the plot took place on space ships and/or space stations. I am unsure what the overarching point of the plot was, possibly some cliché world-saving stuff.
Sorry for the rather vague description. I would be very surprised, yet pleased, if you could make something of this. Spent a fair bit of research before posting without any luck. Thanks for reading.
