There are several series featuring women who come into their paranormal powers after they reach age 40, and this series is probably my favorite. It's a sweet comfort read: likeable characters, good pacing, and a cozy mystery. The mystery was too easy to solve, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

There is currently a 4 way tie for the lead and it doesn't look like it will be changing in the next week!

I have not yet determined what will be the tiebreaker for the last task - I've used # of books and total pages in the past. Since I am not feeling really creative right now - and I really need to be! - it will probably be one of those. But the tiebreaker is only for the last task. Up until that point, it is just completing the tasks - so as long as the books meet the minimum and fit the task, you are good. 😊

I love this book, and the protagonist is one of my favorites ever. I was in the middle of the 4th book when I got confused because I didn’t remember which of the early characters was which (I read this the first time last year) so I re-read it really quick. Now back to the 4th one!
