Flora and Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures by Kate DiCamillo

I have a goal of reading all the Newbery Award books so I was pleased to see this one listed as humorous in several reviews. I'm about halfway through and it is quite comical. Actually it would also fit the requirement for a graphic novel or a non-human character, that being a squirrel with superhero powers! I definitely see Kate DiCamillo's stamp on the characters and I have enjoyed many of her other books so I have high hopes for this one.
