aster isn't someone who's.. well, simple to describe. she's a lot of things, but innocent and honest aren't any of them. she's someone who will do whatever it takes to get where she needs to be and she's seen a lot of stuff, stuff that would crush anyone's innocent. she's incredibly manipulative and often lies. One of the things she firmly believes is that you can't get through life without lying. Without doing whatever it takes to survive. the academy was her second chance, her chance to excel, and that's exactly what she did. it was a bit difficult at first. learning to write, read, and everything else. but one thing she had always been great at was telling lies and putting on a role. she's someone who often immerses herself in her roles and sticks to them. she's a method actor. it didn't matter what the role was, if she wanted to make it, she needed to melt into that role, become it. how she acts at school is just another one of the roles.
aster is kind to others and is someone who is often socializing with others. for her, getting others to open up and trust her is just another mission, a way to survive, to make it through the day. even if she's told she's in no real danger there, she always looks for exits in whatever room she is in. she looks for ways to gather information, easy people to target, and what around her can be used to get out. perhaps she took to the training too well. it's never safe, always be aware of one's surroundings. despite constantly being on edge, she hides it well. she's someone who appears laid-back and playful, unconcerned about her surroundings. someone who's a bit dense, someone who's lazy. heck, she's someone who goes around teasing and flirting with others at times. she seems completely uncaring about what is expected of her and who's watching.
in reality, the girl is extremely vigilant. take her room for example. it looks normal, but there are weapons lying everywhere. taped to the inside of her guitar, taped to one of the boards that hold her bed up, under her pillow, behind the mirror, etc. She spends so much time in her room that she feels the need to hide weapons everywhere, to always have access to something. heck, her boots even have knives hidden in the soles. she's extremely intelligent and observant. she's someone who chooses her allies and enemies carefully. she's cold and knows what needs to be done, whether it means sacrificing others or risking everything. she believes that a moderate level of fear is important. to keep one vigilant, to be ready to act. however, acting on nothing but fear is dangerous.
she's someone who believes in doing anything to get the job done, anything to get out of there alive. because of this, she's also convinced herself that emotions are a weakness, something that makes you vulnerable. as a result, she's become someone who can't open up about their true feelings easily and doesn't enjoy showing their vulnerable side. however, lies should be simple. nothing complicated and something that holds at least some truth. that's what she believes. not for some reason like her feeling bad for them, for lying to them. but, because it's easier to stick to a story if part of it is true. so, while she's someone who's extremely fake, not all of it is. she lives her life surrounding herself in these lies though, so it's difficult to tell what is true and just how much of it. She's someone who knows how to control her expressions, her feelings, and even her posture.
there are times when even her mask cracks. she's cold by nature, ruthless. even if she acts all friendly or even vulnerable, she's someone who does everything she can to kill off her emotions, to bury them deep inside. honestly, she doesn't really know who she is anymore. who's to say that she's not that friendly person who likes helping others or any of those other roles? if every lie she tells includes some form of the truth, wouldn't it be possible? but which one is her? how much of that is true? when you wear a mask for so long, it gets hard to remember, especially when you change as you grow older. she doesn't want to find out, honestly. there are a few things she knows. she's a skilled liar, a murderer, a spy, a student, and someone who just wants to survive. all of the other stuff doesn't really matter. knowing more about herself, figuring herself out isn't going to help her. it's better actually, it makes it easier to immerse herself in a role.
she appears to be lazy, but she's someone who works hard in secret. even as someone who belongs in the oleander house, someone who fits the house quite well, she immersed herself in other things. it's important to have a wide range of skills after all. she's someone who's extremely skilled in combat. while she's not super strong, she's quick, flexible, and a quick thinker. she's also familiarized herself with many theories and even forced herself to learn more about technology. she needed to get closer to the others in other houses. whether it was a sense of camaraderie from having a good fight, impressing jasmine by being quick on her feet, or even impressing a fern with her knowledge on various things and helping them with little projects. she may not be naturally talented in these areas, but with enough hard work, she's got to the point she is. after all, oleander is someone who's good at socializing and someone who's capable of convincing others of anything. if not by familiarizing oneself with things that the others like or are good at, how else? people naturally let down their guards when they believe they have found someone similar to them after all. it's a human instinct to want to belong. humans are pack animals, socializers. it's no different from a kid picking up a hobby because everyone else seems interested in it, right? to belong, to not be excluded. sure, some might think of her as a snake because of this, but spies aren't meant to be truthful saints. while part of her finds the whole process disgusting. people act chummy with her, she doesn't show it. while it might seem tedious, these children are training to be skillful spies just as she is. they are all important connections to have. not to mention, even if it's difficult to learn all these things and familiarize herself with them, it's important for when she's in the field. what if her cover gets blown and she gets attacked? if she can't talk her way out of it, she needs to be able to fight back. combat. if she discovers that there is a bomb while on a mission or something of the sort and no one can make it? she needs to be able to dismantle it. intelligence. if she needs to sneak into an area she's not supposed to be to complete her mission? stealth. they are all skills she's learned while at the academy. while she might not be able to beat others in their houses who specialize in these things and are just naturally talented in those areas, she works hard to excel in anything she does.
she's definitely a tad unhinged deep down. someone who enjoys watching the pain of others, of the face of despair on their face when they realize everything has been taken from them. To watch anger twist their features, the face of defeat. while she enjoys watching this, she does keep it in moderation. perhaps that's why she messes with people so much. watching them shift uncomfortably or not know what to do. to watch them squirm in response to her taunts or even her flirting. it doesn't matter. more than anything, deep down, she just wants to see something amusing. something different than her, something with emotion. she can't stand stone-faced people. people who don't have any kind of reaction. she hates it.
she often appears to be rather sarcastic, and well, it's not really an act most of the time. she genuinely finds people annoying and sarcasm is one of the ways she could really deal with that. even if she does it in a jokingly way, perhaps it's a way of coping. rolling her eyes, responding with attitude, acting lazy, pretending to be playful and sociable. maybe part of her just wants to be normal, to act and be a normal teenager. maybe that's why that's the role she picked, why she works so hard to earn the approval of others and to be liked. she's convinced herself that it's because they'd be useful to her one day, because it was how she was trained, but honestly... she's just a kid. one who never had the chance to experience what it's really like to be a kid. and that's all she wants. she wants to be a kid but more than anything, she wants to survive. this school is what gave her that chance, and what she was taught is what will continue to keep her alive.

weaknesses: she can't trust others. this can become a huge issue as she feels as though she needs to do it herself and she becomes extremely controlling. she overworks herself and never allows herself to relax and is constantly on edge. while being aware of things is a good thing, the body and mind can only take so much. she's paranoid and incredibly insecure. she doesn't believe she's enough, that she needs to do better. the only thing that really comes easy to her is lying, hence why she feels the need to close the gap and learn as much as she can. use her lying to her advantage, to lower one's defenses. this might seem good, but it makes it hard to make trustworthy allies. she bottles things up and tries to bury her emotions, which isn't healthy or safe. she's someone who is incredibly stubborn. she refuses to lose. she cares about her life, but if it means losing her face and dignity, she'd rather spit in the face of death than give up and spill any information, even if she's tortured. even if she does make it out alive, how could she return and show her face after spilling the contents of the mission or anything like that? more than anything, she's someone who runs away from her feelings. she doesn't want to face them and doesn't really know how to deal with them. running away from one's feelings rather than dealing with them properly is not only unhealthy but stupid.

aster has medium, wavy hair that is just above her shoulders. it's purposely kept short, that way she can move around easily and it'd be harder to grab on. if straightened, it'd just barely reach her shoulders. however, her hair is naturally wavy so she doesn't really bother to do that. plus, curls look better. her hair is naturally not a normal color, it's color originally being a dirty blonde. however, that doesn't really matter. if she needs to dye it a different color for a mission or wear a wig, she will. she does seem to color it blue a lot though and seems to prefer that.
the girl has rather pale skin which is usually accompanied by light makeup. both her hair and her skin are pretty well taken care of due to the skin and hair care routines she does. after all, what if her job was to infiltrate some rich guy's mansion? she needed to be ready to take on missions like that. it was easy to make yourself look poor and dirty, clearing up bad acne and bad hair is not.
she has oval-shaped, light blue eyes which are usually outlined by eyeliner and mascara. she stands at around 5'5" and weighs around 112 lbs. physically, she's not very strong and isn't exactly bulky. if anything, she's slightly underweight. however, she is not out of shape in the slightest as she's constantly exercising. there will be missions where she needs to constantly be on the move after all. the quicker she can execute her mission and the more accurate, the better. she's not particularly weak though, having pretty average strength. she has a few scars, including one on her shoulder that looks a lot like a gunshot wound.

strengths: she has strong legs, has high endurance, stamina, and is rather flexible and quick on her feet. she's trained to rely more on those traits to make up for what she lacks.

she didn't really have the best family. honestly, the lot were all extremely twisted and awful people. her mother was a cold person who didn't care about any of her children. ignored them constantly, no matter how much they attempted to please her. the only time she really ever showed any kind of emotion was when she was agitated. her father was no better. he had no intention on loving his children, rather, he used them as scapegoats, alibis, or experiments. the first child was sent to prison, framed for the massacre. the second and third child was sold to settle debt. the fourth child was given to someone to gain their favor, (view spoiler)[raped to death. (hide spoiler)]. she and the fifth child were used as test subjects for products, struggling with addiction. being used to make deals, being used to commit all kinds of crimes. theft, assault, murder. the fifth child (view spoiler)[of overdose. (hide spoiler)] she wanted nothing more for those horrible excuses for parents to just... perish. and well, that's exactly what happened. naturally, in that line of business, his father stirred up a lot of enemies. when she was just nine, the house was shot up. her father and mother died in the crossfire. she barely survived, though, she too got shot. she ended up in the hospital. but with no one to support her, she couldn't really pay any of the bills. that's when the man who ordered the kill of her family ended up showing up and paying everything off and 'taking her in' as her supposed uncle. she definitely wasn't related to him, but it wasn't hard to forge some papers.
she worked alongside him for three years. three years of a hellish life. she didn't have to be a test subject anymore for any products and he helped her get through the addiction so she'd be of better use to him. he raised her for those three years to be someone who could be of good use to him. while she didn't do too much, he taught her to lie, to shoot a gun. she was to become someone who can handle things for him. someone he needed. what better chance than to gain the loyalty of a child at it's lowest and raise it? unfortunately, aster wasn't as grateful as he thought. while with this organization, doing what she could to survive and nothing but, she met a spy who graduated from the academy that happened to be undercover. she happened to find out purely by coincidence, but she didn't tell anyone. she kept it secret and lied about it for months. then, one day, the boss finally found out. he even found out that she was helping the spy gather information as one of his closest assets in training. he had approached her with it and even tried to silently dispose of her. to make it seem like a suicide. he tried to strangle her with a rope. she was a small eleven-year-old with not much strength, so how could she fight against a grown man? she injected him with one of his own products and a lot of them during the fight. he overdosed and she barely made it out alive. thanks to her help in gathering the information, that spy was able to bring down that organization. she was then recommended to the academy through the spy. she didn't really have many options at the time. even if they were all things she was forced to do, she was technically a criminal, an orphan. someone with nowhere to go and no place to belong in that world. she knew too much as well. she was a risk. if she wanted to survive, she needed to get into that school and attend. she spent what months she had left before she was old enough to learn to read and write. she was then recruited to be a student there through the recommendation.
at first, it was hard to catch up. she was far behind the other students. she was small and underdeveloped, so she wasn't as strong as the other kids. she had only just started to learn to read and write, so she wasn't as smart as them. she wasn't really great with being stealthy or anything either as she was never taught anything like that. the only thing she knew how to do was lie, to get through situations. she knew how to survive and that was it. That's how she ended up in Oleander. While she's skilled now, she was barely anything at first. she knew nothing and was far behind even those in her own house. However, if there was one thing aster knew how to do, it was to survive. From the moment she was born, that was all she ever did; struggle to survive. And survive was what she'd do. In order to survive, she needed to learn everything she could from her surroundings, just like before. That's exactly what she did. However, she was tired of just surviving. she wanted to excel for once, so she worked hard every day to get to that point. she eventually ended up the way she is now.

- the reason aster dislikes cold and unresponsive people is because of her mother. even if that's how she is, she hates feeling like she's being ignored. ignored as she was dying, ignored as she was struggling. that cold look she wore, never properly responding to anything. she hates it, though it might seem hypocritical. the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree after all.
- aster struggles with anxiety as well as ptsd. she's technically a recovering addict, even if she is doing well for herself now. it'd only take a little bit for her to relapse.
- perhaps it's because of everything that happened to her, but she hates the world. she has a natural distrust towards people and believes that everything comes for a price, that nothing is free, and therefore refuses to accept any goodwill towards her.

the simplest way to describe danny is stubborn. they say "choose your battles", and danny chooses all of them. she never backs down, even when she knows she can't win. she's very passionate about things, putting her all into whatever she does without fail. it's more about her pride than anything else. nearly everything she does is meant to prove she's good enough. that she's not a mistake. she's one hell of a fighter - whether that's physical or verbal - and she never gives up.
danny is loyal to a fault, extremely overprotective of the people she cares about. she's come to be something of a mama bear for a bunch of first and second years. she's very quick to judge people, but luckily for them, she usually likes them. she's a pretty chill person to be around, cracking jokes and making everyone laugh with her lovingly sarcastic sense of humor. danny is a very social person, thriving in large groups. she just has to be around people.
see, danny hates being alone. when it's quiet and nobody else is around, the only thing there really is to do is think. in danny's case, that usually leads to raging self-hatred, the increased fear that she'll never be good enough for anyone she cares about, or a mild existential crisis at best. she prefers being around people or even just constantly doing things just so that she can't think and can't fall into that endless pit of her thoughts.

danny has a shorter, heavily built body, reaching about 5'1, with a ton of muscle. it's intimidating how obviously strong she is - she could probably dropkick you across several football fields. she has dark brown skin with earthy undertones and round facial features. her eyes are a very dark brown and her hair is in thin braids that go all the way done to her waist, naturally black and dyed blond at the tips.
danny prefers athletic clothing, usually tank tops and sweatpants. part of it is for comfort and practicality reasons, but it may or may not be to show off a little bit too.

danny comes from a long line of cloud agents, generations of top students and operatives. the middle of five children, she grew up always being overshadowed by the accomplishments of her siblings. her younger brothers were both geniuses, building computers at the age of five, and the house was always full of first-place trophies in every sport imaginable earned by her older sisters. danny was never bad at any of those things, but she was just... average. that wasn't good enough in a family of perfection. combat was the only thing that ever came naturally to her. she taught herself how to fight, to attack without mercy. she was still average, but she was getting there. when she came to the academy, she was quickly sorted into wisteria - exactly what she'd expected. now here she is, working her ass off to try and be better, or at least good enough to prove something.

 Physical Appearance
Valentina has a more delicate and gentle body type, which is understandable considering her height and weight, that both happen to be quite low for her age. She stands at 5 feet or 152.4 cms, and weights 108 lbs or 49kgs. Her height and weight are the text book definition of willowy and thin, this causes people to expect her to be meek and useless, which is nothing like how she acts. Valentina has long blonde hair, which is thin, but she has a lot; it reaches just below her rib cage when straightened, and otherwise is wavy and let down. Her skin town is very fair and she is sensitive to sun, often wearing sunscreen to avoiding burning it, while being fair she has many freckles on her shoulders and arms. Valentina has gentle foggy green eyes, that are almond in shape, giving her a calm expression. Her nose is small and covered in freckles along with her cheeks, her lips are naturally a darker shade, and her brows are dark and defined. Her face is always covered by a mask in the shape of a fox, black film covers the eyes hiding them from view but allowing her to see clearly.  Strengths & Abilities
Training from the age of three years old, Valentina is no stranger to pushing herself and her abilities, even considering her initial appearance and first impressions. She started ballet and gymnastics at three years-old, and before that was exposed to agency and spy work because of her parents. Ballet has done her well, as she took part in these sports up until she started at CLOUD when she was twelve, it gave her strength, flexibility, and gracefulness, not to mention discipline. Along with ballet Valentina was very into sciences from a young age, she could make chemical formulas at that age of five even being able to make them successfully. Her study of the human nervous systems and anatomy has made her incredibly observant to human actions, and if in combat she uses her opponents body against them rather than truly fighting them. As her size and skills aren't up to the standard required for safe and successful combat. Other skills of hers are psychology, she knows how to see the way people react and uses that to judge someones response, at her current age she has come to the point where in a conversion she can more often then not assume the person's next response. As mentioned she knows a lot about chemistry and biology, this has made her a natural with plants and poisons, which she always has on hand. Her style is 'watch, analyse, then act' as she likes to see how things could turn in her favor.

Valentina is quite strict and many people at the CLOUD would describe her in this way, her way of acting around people and her daily life are set in stone and she doesn't often change it. She likes to stick to the rule book, and expects others to do the same, often castigating her others if they aren't up to standard; it has come to the point where they will quickly straighten up before they know she's going to walk into a room. As mentioned Valentina's daily schedule is also inflexible, she doesn't like it to change, so she hasn't. Her mornings and evening life and down to a clock, she always wears a watch, often when in conversation she glances at it. Not wanting to waste time. For her everything is strict and set.

Along with being strict Valentina is disciplined, a trait that pressed onto her since she was little, her parents being leaders of countless agencies had to present themselves in a certain way and Valentina copied that. At times this action makes her a little domineering, as she always acts with the intention of seeing how someone will respond to her movements. Other ways to see her disciplined personality are how she holds herself, she doesn't slouch, and stands straight more often than not with her hands clasped behind in front of her. Her clothing is clean and pressed, a habit of hers is if she sees a hair on someone's shirt she will pick off while passing by, seeing and knowing it's there irritates her.

Guarded. Is another way this person presents herself, while some people appear open but are reserved, and others are simply open with how they act and speak not hiding anything. Valentina is always keeping back information, whether it be that she doesn't want to share it or she feels it is best to hold onto and reveal later on. She doesn't often share her reasons for what she does and no one knows anything about her personal life other then the rumors she had spread about herself to silence anyone that poked their nose where she didn't want it. She has always been a reserved person, she doesn't enjoy making conversation but will if someone asks. Unless she has interest in someone she prefers not to be the one starting the interaction. Her guarded nature had gone to the extent that she wears a mask constantly only taking it off when eating, and she doesn't eat around people, hiding her identity isn't a confirmed reason why she does this and there could possibly be another. But people often assume the former.

Valentina is one to always think ahead and as mentioned she is always keeping her eyes on everything if she can, this is because of her high strategical mind. She can't help, but think ahead if her mind goes straight to the thought that she needs to use everything to her advantage. Unlike most strategy minds, she doesn't like taking risks, and dislikes needing to adapt, she would rather things stay the same. Those tend to be her biggest down sides, since for her if plans change it complicates things, though she always has a back up plan it doesn't mean it won't set her slightly off her game. Not having a plan at all, on the other hand, causes her to panic and she can't focus.

Raised in a household where competition was a way to prove yourself, this has transitioned into her daily life, she always strives to be the best and does her best to be at the top. For her younger years third or even second was a sign of being incompetent in her household, she isn't one to stress about many thing but losing does put her on edge and makes her quite irritable to be around.

Perhaps one of the most unsettling traits of Valentina is the fact that she is said to be always watching, with her mask no one can see her eyes and students often tease that she wears it to hide her eyes. When in fact her eyes are actually quite beautiful and catch people's attention. Her observation skills are very advanced and she watches for how people will respond, even being able to at times know if someone is lying. The best of liars don't often stand a chance against her, a comment of hers is there is only one way to spot the truth and many to spot a lie, if you know what someone looks like when telling the truth, a lie will be easy to see on someone's face.

  History & Childhood                   

Since before her birth Valentina was going to be in the business of agency and spy work, born to parents Stefano and Giovanna Vos, as the eighth child of eight; the other children having an age gap of three years between Valentina. Stefano and Giovanna had both been born in Italy, then placed into an arranged marriage between two families, both that were heads of chains of darker agency groups. These groups worked secretly for the government, but didn't do things in the best ways, such as often killing people. Without a care. When they married the two chains joins and the newly weds had become the leaders of an enormous chain. Only a year later, they started to having children, all boys up until Valentina was born, and she was the first daughter of the Vos children. When born into this family Val never saw the faces of her parents and only a few of those that belong to her brothers, which he no longer remembers. A tradition in the Vos family and agency was the mask in the shape of a fox head, the animal chosen because the name Vos means fox, as well as the fact, foxes are clever and often undetected. Cold, unfriendly, angry, and tough-minded, Caledonia Hayden is someone that most people don't want to be around. Which is fine because she doesn't want to be around them, either. The girl tends to hide all her feelings inside her with the exception of anger, which she has almost qualms about letting wild and free...because the truth is, she struggles to control it. She's bitter, angry, and doesn't trust a lot of people while also being the one to call people out on their bullshit and someone who is unafraid to stand up for what she believes in. While she doesn't talk to many people and befriend them, the brunette is against abuse or bullying, unless of course she loses her temper at idiotic people and ignites a fight. It's happened at least once a year. She's also a good leader, however, and someone capable of keeping calm in most dangerous situations, and she's also a good fighter, hence her placement in Wisteria. The girl tends to try and take command of situations and has been known to throw her weight around, and she's someone who has a very businesslike demeanor and takes her job as a future spy very, very seriously. After all, she knows the world is a shitty place and that it needs help, and part of the reason she sticks with the academy is so she can help prevent others from being hurt the way she was, while protecting people without having to get close to anyone.
Caledonia is a private person, anger aside, who hates getting close to people and letting them in. She's distrustful and has more than one weapon on her and in her vicinity at all times, while is the type to always hold grudges and sometimes act on revenge, even though she knows she shouldn't do that./ It's just she can get so bitter and hurt and angry--mostly outwardly angry--that she wants to make the person pay for what they said or did to her or a rare person she loves. In terms of those people: IF, and this is a big if, Caledonia has someone she loves as a friend or girlfriend or like her mother, that person will always have someone in their corner because she is so loyal to them. But she doesn't let many in so it's hard to get to that point where she'll literally die for you. She does have a small soft spot when it comes to children, however, though she knows they can be brats, just...overall she tolerates them more than adults.
Caledonia also hates to be told what to do and hates the feeling of being utterly helpless and unable to defend herself. She values her independence and autonomy and will not hesitate to hurt someone who tries to talk that from her. She's not someone easily scared, while she's defensive, bold, and can be rash and act up when she's pissed or a loved one is in danger. She's also very observant, and has been since childhood, while she's good at fighting as well--very good. But what she' not great at are her social skills--she can make small talk but she hates it and doesn't really know how to keep most conversations going, hence why if someone actually talks to her, it's probably a business/spy related thing, which would be the best for her. She can give orders and such, but...don't chat her up, she'll one, hate you, and two, not really know what to do. Again, stealth and undercover aren't her favorites because for undercover she has to act like someone she's not and she hates having to act like that, talk people up, or act like some boy-crazy rich girl. Nope.
So, to put it simply, Caledonia is not a friendly person. She does, however, deep down feel lonely, and while she walks around with an air of confidence, unfortunately, deep inside she's also quite insecure after years of intense bullying as well as abuse by her father. She's also kind of a scarily good liar and comes up with some nasty shit on the spot at times when she's trying to get herself out of a tough position that would lead to more trouble.
The brunette also struggles with depression, and has since she was a child, while also struggling with PTSD. She's also quite touch averse and is unafraid to break someone's wrist if they touch without permission. The only one who can do that is her mother and was her ex, but even her mother never does that because she doesn't want to risk triggering her.
Caledonia is also typically someone who follows rules. Around CLOUD, she's pretty good about it--she turns her work in on time; she's trusted by most of the staff. But. She also has moments when she thinks rules need to be broken--she will break curfew laws if she needs to leave her room to exercise at, say, 2am, and she'll also sometimes be so angry that she will fight with others, snapping and just losing all semblance of control.
She also dislikes herself--she thinks of herself as worthless and stood, part of the reason she's trying so hard here to prove herself, while sometimes she even gets scared of how violent she can be. But she believes in the idea of better safe than sorry and sometimes that, to her, means violence.

strengths: she's not afraid to stand up for what she believes in; she's also a good liar, maybe scarily good, when she wants to be; she's observant and diligent as well, while also being someone meticulously organized and as clean and outwardly put together as possible, so if she's ever disorderly or her room is a mess, there's clearly something wrong.

weaknesses: the first is her temper; she can end up losing control of her rage when she's upset and angry and it doesn't take a lot for her to get to that point. She's also not the best intellectually when it comes to math, science, data analysis, and some codes and ciphers even make her head spin. She also struggles sometimes with stealth (because her rage can snap and boom, there goes her cover; other than that she's good); her social skills and patience need work too. Caledonia was born to a single mother, Katarina Hayden, a very skilled CLOUD agent and one of the agency's best and most distinguished. As far as she knew, her mother was a government official. Katarina was the child’s best friend—she was funny, personable, strong, and adored her little girl, would hurt anyone who dared hurt Cala. From the time the child was five, she was already learning how to shoot a gun and how to wrap her hands properly and hit something, and as she got older she was taught how to take someone down. Her mother was everything to her. Katarina taught her almost everything she knew, because her mother wanted her to defend herself, best she could, because she told Caledonia that as a government official it was important to be safe.
So, not only did the little girl like the punching and the guns, but she knew it was a necessity. Caledonia grew up thinking her mom was not only the coolest person ever but she wanted to go to the same school Mama had, because it just seemed cool and was natural for the child—she thought everyone at first learned how to use a gun. And she figured the school had normal education, just was somewhere she could also continue this “fun” training. Of course, Katarina was really a government spy/agent, hence why she was gone sometimes and left the brunette with her one friend from high school, who was a scientist agent who had also went through CLOUD but who worked more from home because she disliked working with people in person. This meant Caledonia couldn’t know the exact truth unless CLOUD recruited her later.
So for the meantime, the child attended a local elementary school. But it was not a good experience, partially because Caledonia, it was evident, had…a huge anger problem. Whenever another kid said something she found offense, she’d hit them. Part of the issue for the anger was the fact she was being bullied viciously. Kids started to tease her for her height, her eye color, her long name and they’d shorten it to mess with her. They called her a freak and told her that her absent father left because of her—she didn’t know what happened to him and Katarina had said she’d tell her when she was older. They would push her around on the playground and into walls and punch her. Caledonia started closing up and acting distant and colder at school and home, and she ignited fight after fight.
The first time she got blood running and people yelling was when she was only seven, in second grade. She punched a classmate which ended up with a phone call home and a talk that night, though Caledonia hid from her mom the bullying: it was too painful and she hated that the kids were mean to her. And with her strength training at home, Cal’s punches and attacks were…not light.
But as it didn’t stop and more fights happened, getting worse when the girl was nine and ten because they’d figured out that Caledonia was gay. The girl had realized it when she had a first crush on a female classmate at age nine, and another one at ten, and she was made fun of even more, including a horrific incident where they burned her with a fire poker from the school kitchens. So, she was even more angry and otherwise emotionally closed off at home, and Katarina finally, finally, when her daughter was ten, got it out of her that she was being bullied. A furious Katarina pulled what money she had saved up and transferred her girl to a private elementary school.
But when Caledonia was eleven her world really got ruined. She was doing a bit better at the school, though academically she was a bit behind and didn’t know how to make friends—too quiet and cold and distrusting of everyone—when one weekend, Katarina said she had a business trip. It had happened before so Caledonia hugged her mom and was told she’d be back in a few days.

But Katarina never returned. A phone call was made to Caledonia’s “aunt”, and by the end of the call, by the way that she just started crying, Caledonia knew something was wrong. She’d begged to know what and Marissa said Katarina Hayden had gone missing on the trip. They couldn’t find her. Of course, it was more complicated than that but it was ‘classified’. So. That was out, knowing the truth.
The eleven year old remained convinced they’d find her, but only two weeks later, someone else came to the door—a whole bunch of someone’s. People in official uniforms and they dropped paperwork into her hands and took her and said that they were with CLOUD and that “surprise, your mom was a super spy”, and Caledonia was shocked and numb and yet demanded to know what had happened. They said Katarina Hayden was dead, that her will was now in Caledonia's hands, and that surprise, you have a father as your next of kin. Out stepped James Laughlin, a tall, imposing figure who was, evidently, also a spy who taught at an academy for CLOUD. The same place Katarina had gone to, the school Caledonia had wanted to attend, which until now she hadn't known was for spies. Still, she demanded in shock to know who James was and if he was really her father--they both had blue eyes, sure, but it was only after a DNA test done because Caledonia demanded it that there was proof. James explained that Katarina and he had fallen out after Katarina was pregnant, and that James had been longing to meet his daughter for eleven years, and he took her into his apartment home near the Academy, where he taught.
Caledonia was uncomfortable with how much James vilified her mother, saying she had kept him away from their daughter because Katarina dubbed him "cruel" and "aggressive", but that in reality, James stated he had longed to meet her. But the first red flag was when James took the will from Caledonia, who had read to find all her mom's items and money were hers now. James said he'd take care of this until she was eighteen and old enough to handle the finances on her own. Needless to say she never got that back.
Life turned to hell from here on out--never having met her father before, the girl was already uncomfortable with this situation, and she never forgave him for down-talking Katarina as a "fool" for staying an agent when she had a child, going on dangerous missions, and one evening James blatantly told Caledonia the first full day she moved in with him that he had expectations: he didn't want his child. "You're a burden. Neither of us waned you. You'd be best to just be given up, but now you've fallen to me. And I have high expectations". He demanded to see her physical abilities, and he began to train her at home even harder--and he made it clear failure in academics (science, math, and history, especially) would be punished. Unfortunately...Caledonia struggled with the first two, and she found out that failure meant being hit. The abuse started with hits and being locked in a small dark room without food, that turned into James demeaning and bullying her and her training became harder and borderline abusive in and of itself. His expectations were impossible and he made it clear the only reason he "graciously took a brat like you in" was because he claimed he had loved Katarina in some twisted way. Though it was clear he hated his kid and wouldn't care if someone shot her in the head. He made her sleep in a basement, in the cold, while withholding all love and affection, and his mental and emotional abuse was sometimes more hurtful than the physical, though there was that, too. When she fought back, always angry, he punished her even worse, and threatened the one friend she had managed to make at school if she dared tell the authorities how she was being treated at home. He guilted her into feeling grateful for his protection--after all, he never ceased to remind her he could have let her starve after her mother's death.
So when Caledonia was twelve and got the invitation to CLOUD, she took it to get away from constant abuse, knowing that her father worked as a combat teacher there but also knowing she could withstand his horrid classes because it was worse at home. Besides, dorms were better than home. She had also begun to close off and start even more fights at her new school, too. James really didn't care.
So she entered CLOUD Academy, also to find out what really happened to Katarina--she was deemed "dead or missing", and Caledonia held onto childish hope she was still alive...and she was desperate, too, cold and angry.
At CLOUD, Caledonia stayed away from people--she distrusted them more and more as time went by, because how dare they allow an abusive person on their staff?! But the first time she tried to tell an administrator, James caught her, beat her up in his office, and then threatened to kill her. So she was a bit scared into silence and was even colder as time went on, also because CLOUD, well, she was bullied or ignored a lot here, too. Caledonia didn't really know how to make friends, and while in some respects it was better because she could avoid her father more, in other aspects it was worse: she had to really hide her relationship to him because of his threats, and she was surrounded by some constant memories of her late mother, who had been the head of Wisteria, where Caledonia was, before Caledonia was born. It just hurt.
So she grew up working hard at the Academy to get good grades and aimed to do her best and be the best in her class even as it didn't always work out--her stealth would suffer from angry outbursts and idiots in her class, while her academic and data analysis skills...sucked. It came from a lack of patience. Her people skills also sucked, and she was still in mourning for her mama, who she'd never had a proper time to say goodbye to. She was hurt and bitter and angry, and acted like it, getting in fights over small insults because of her grief and her rage at her father and everything else.
She ended up in trouble a lot for physical fights, while she also never minced her words, and it was only over her last few years that the faculty finally respected her as businesslike and dedicated when she began to stop punching people as much. She knew she had to control some rage a bit. But still, the bullying of people for either her appearance or height or sexuality or personality was all just a lot, and she found on some occasions punching was still her only outlet. And because her mother had been a good agent, some of the staff had expectations that Caledonia felt pressured to meet, not that she was too upset because she wanted to be as good as her mom had been.
All this said, there was one light in her life, but her father wrecked that, too (as on holidays...well. He was her father, so either she went home with him, or, if she petitioned to stay here, he was faculty. So he'd come by and demand to see her, where if her grades were not up to par, he'd hit her back with his belt). And the words were horrific too. Anyway, when she was sixteen, Caledonia realized that she was crushing on one of her classmates, much more than she ever had before. And to her suspicion and shock, the girl liked her, too.
Soon, Caledonia not only had a friend, but a girlfriend, and for that year, 16-17, she was actually a lot nicer, more tolerant of other people and less angry, it seemed. She loved her girlfriend, who she dated in private because of her father, who she knew was homophobic. But when she was seventeen and a half, so after about a year and a half, her father caught her kissing Anna, her girlfriend, after classes let out one day, and...he was furious. He beat her up worse than every before, forced her to break up with Anna, and threatened both girls' lives if either ever told admin about how he treated his kid. And then Anna dropped out of the agency, and Caledonia began to fight her father even more.
Since then, Caledonia has been even more upset, closed off, cold, angry, bitter, and unfriendly. While she's on a trajectory to do well in her class, in her mind, once she graduates, she plans to leave CLOUD for good and join the military. One, it will get her away from James. Two, she's best at strength anyway and her stealth skills can be laughable when she's enraged, and three, she feels she can get some anger out that way. But nobody knows of her plans, and for now she's just trying to do her best, avoid James, trying hard not to smack people in their faces, and survive. Sure, she enjoys being an agent and using firearms and she does want to help people and be an agent for that reason--to help and protect others when she feels helpless herself--but getting away from James is her main priority. Though she still aims to find out more what happened to her mother, as James realized she's trying to do that, too, and he's working to stop her. She also has known Alianna for years--the girl's family is friends with her father and his family, meaning Alianna tormented Caledonia at a younger age and on some holidays, still does.

Sarcastic and trustworthy, Thea Adamos is usually the claimed "Responsible One" in almost all of the friend groups she has ever been in. She always does her best to be level-headed in most situations, but when she gets irritated you'll know; she gets very snippy... very snippy.
She enjoys stability but isn't opposed to change unless is comes way too rapidly or is something she is staunchly against. She could beat you up, but it's more of a subconscious reflex thing, than it is a "I-actually-want-to-beat-you-up" thing. She believes in letting people face the consequences of their own actions and is actually very accepting of most things, but she's also very strong with her opinions and isn't afraid to throw hands about her morals. She doesn't like having to force anyone to do anything and is easygoing with everybody unless their own actions interfere with her life.
She seems very chill and keeps to herself if you don't get to know her personally, but after, she'll show you just how worked up and sarcastic she can get.
When it comes to her own life, she works herself as hard as she can, the product of being the kid of two genius spies who just could never seem to understand why she couldn't understand complex escape strategies at age 10 much less empathize with her internal struggles. As a result, she became extremely hardworking and self-reliant, to a fault at times, having almost tunnel vision when it comes to tasks she has to finish, and she takes it very hard on herself when she fails to meet her own standards or the standards of her parents.
She never really took to the idea of following in her parents' footsteps on the path of espionage, instead becoming drawn to the law. In fact, just weeks before she was supposed to start a prestigious law and business program at her old school, her parents whisked her away to take her to CLOUD, giving her absolutely no knowledge about it until she had arrived.
So, obviously she freaked out a ton and decided to rebel by purposefully being bad at most of the things they had her doing until she accidentally got very interested in it and now she genuinely likes learning about it. Disgusting, she knows.
She gets extremely freaked out when things happen that are not supposed to happen. You know, like her parents sending her away to a school across the country and forcing her away from the life had in Washington. You know, not a specific thing at all! :)
She's the queen of overthinking and gets incredibly snappy and rude if you irritate her even after she's told you that it bothers her. That's why if you have a bad relationship with her, she seems like a high-maintenance control freak. Which, okay, she can be, but only when she gets very wound up.

Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Thea was the biological daughter of a spy (belonging to the same organization as adopted parents), and an unknown policeman. When her parents died in a terrible fire in their own home just weeks after her birth while she was in daycare, her adopted parents (who had found themselves unable to biologically have children) decided to take her before the government could find her and start asking questions, taking her down to Washington DC and completely transforming her identity so she would never know the details about who she was before. Her adopted parents themselves were originally from Greece before they immigrated to The States, so they changed her original name, Arabella Vanderberg, to Thea Adamos during the process of changing everything about who she was. She had a relatively happy life if you didn't count the mental manipulation she'd constantly face from her parents, as well as them leaving for weeks at a time, leaving her to the cranky old woman down the street who was getting paid before she became 14. From then on, she would take care of herself when her parents were away, not that it was much different either way. She pushed herself as hard as she could, getting the best grades, actively trying to learn about things her parents were interested in and basically doing what she could to make them proud of her. When she finally started to decide her own path for herself, almost about to join a law program, her parents panicked and decided to ship her off to the other end of the country to attend CLOUD. They did it to force her to learn more about their path so she would have to like it. Obviously, she did not take to this very well at all.

All this said, Alianna acts sugary-sweet around any adults and teachers, even though some know she's ended up in detention for being an asshole before. Those that don't know that, though, she acts towards them like the perfect student, so full of kindness. But students know she's really just awful, at least mostly.
Alianna also values patience, and she can be stealthy and cunning when it comes to hurting people. She waits for the opportune moment to strike at someone, while she'll sometimes do her nastier methods in the shadows. Also, she's killed two students but they were ruled as tragic accidents--both on separate training missions. Her next target is someone a year ahead of her, and that target she deems both a threat to her and just...annoying, Anyway, Alianna is someone who feels absolutely not regret or remorse for her actions and who holds grudges and loves revenge more than a normal, stable person would. Yeah, she's not mentally stable--she may not get angry easily but Alianna does take joy in making people scream, so she's someone to avoid. If you're on her bad side, watch out, and even if you're on her good side she's not afraid to hurt someone if they turn on her. So she's loyal to herself and her parents' cause.
Alianna is also someone who likes to flirt and bat her eyelashes, and she's pretty good at that sometimes, to try and get in and out of bad situations. Mostly though, she's a stealthy, jealous person who really gets envious easily, and she's also quite the entitled brat with a vain streak in her. She dislikes getting dirt under her nails--so, no gardens work for her--but she's not afraid to paint her hands in someone else's blood, so...it is what it is. She likes blood a lot and thinks it's pretty, but mostly she just likes it because it means she has power over someone. Alianna Calico was born to two parents who had graduated from CLOUD. However, while they graduated from the Academy, they had actually been undercover spies for a darker agency that worked against the government, and they had never been caught. Alianna was taught early on to defend herself and attack people, and how to sneak up on them, and told that sometimes people deserved to be attacked because they were idiots--her parents were a horrid influence on the young girl. While at her school she found she had an early love of science and data analysis and computer hacking and such. She also found a love for bullying—Alianna found that she adored teasing people and messing with them. She would find anyone's weakness and exploit it, while also picking on those deemed "different"--she quickly became an ableist homophobe and honestly, she's a real jerk. Alianna would also be the one to wreck another students' work out of jealousy, and she learned to be patient and undercut someone secretly. Sure, she'd pick a fight sometimes, but that meant she'd get in trouble, and Alianna didn't like that. But the one time she did, when she in second grade, her parents just asked if the kid had deserved it and if Alianna had won. It was a yes to both, the blonde believed.
She was also very intelligent and moved to a higher level science and tech class than her other classmates (she went to a special private school for her first eleven years), where she began to run experiments with some nasty teacher who shared her student's love of all things terrible, so they'd test experiments on rats and stuff and explode things, which Alianna loved.
When she was twelve, CLOUD reached out to her--as her parents still were CLOUD agents, just...undermined the agency when they could and had yet to be caught. That's when Alianna learned over her parents' jobs as spies, and they pulled her aside the night before she left and explained to her that they hated the agency and really worked against it and the government, and Alianna, who had been raised to hate authority like that and controlling people as such, decided to do the same. So, she joined CLOUD at twelve as a kind of horrible spy in training but with dark ideas and goals.
There, Alianna found her skills increasing and so many new people to bully!! Ecstatic, she stated to pick on people in her house and year, and while she got in trouble sometimes it never stopped her, and she started using underhanded methods to hurt others as well when she was jealous or felt like it. After all, Alianna wanted to be the best she could, and if someone was ahead of her, she'd try and hurt them.
When in botany class when she was a second year, around age 14, Alianna decided she wanted to learn how to make poisons, so she decided to do further research. She borrowed books and contacted her parents and gained access to their darker underground agency and learned how to make deadly or sickening poisons and such which she had used on a few people around CLOUD who she wants to miss an exam day or just get humiliated or something. It's effective and nobody has proof she's poisoning people yet. When Alianna was in her fifth year, on a training mission, under chaperones, of course, she stealthily and secretly killed a student who she was jealous of, and who was a threat to her parents, and she was able to frame it like it had been a freak accident. She did the same thing at the end of the year, too, and mourned with the rest of the Academy. Of course, she'd killed before as well, as on some holidays when she joined CLOUD, her parents had her on missions for them earlier, for their own horrid agency, after she was twelve, and she killed for them, too. Her great undercover and stealth work helped, as did her ability to sabotage and track people via computers and such.
Anyway, when Alianna first came to CLOUD, she was placed in Jasmine. She didn't know how to feel about this, because again, she was also someone who was very intelligent when it came to science and computer hacking and such, but she also learned to appreciate her house placement, even love it. She had already been good at getting into places she wasn’t supposed to, and she learned to hone her skills and use them to hurt as many people as she could. She now loves to hide in places and knows how to move without making much of a sound; though she also spends time in the labs with Fern kids as well, because she’s smart and Alianna likes bombs, thank you. And hacking cameras to hide the fact she’s bullying people or sabotaging them or the Academy.
One thing that not many know though is that when Alianna was only seven, during a swimming lesson at her school, she slipped and fell into the pool and almost drowned before her teacher could save her. Alianna was horrified and it had scared her. Scarred her actually, so she’s never touched water again.
Oh and she had a boyfriend once, someone at CLOUD, when she was fifteen, but when he caught on to what she doing, to how horrible she was and her goals in life, at seventeen Alianna killed him, too, though made it look like it had been a freak accident over a holiday. Thus her loyalty isn’t quite there even more her “loved ones”.
Oh and her family are family friends with Agent Laughlin, one of the combat teachers, and his family, so Caledonia’s family. And Alianna met her via them when she was ten, and that’s when she started bullying the older girl and when she started to hate her for the first time and since then on some holidays too she’s bullied the girl.

Cole is the class clown and the class playboy and everyone knows it. Ever since he was, like, fifteen, he's been flirting with everyone his grade through age seventeen as much as he can. He loved getting people flustered and riled up, and he's the type of person who dates someone for a night, maybe two, leading them on, and then dumps them, so he kind of has a reputation going that he generally enjoys. He's also the type to ask dumb questions in class and see how easily he can get a teacher all riled up and their face really red, because he thinks it's funny and entertaining. Admittedly, he feeds off audience reactions sometimes, and he’s the kid to have a lot of detentions on his record for saying dumb things and interrupting class.
All this said, Cole is actually pretty smart, and he typically does his work. But sometimes he can get lazy, and it’s on times like these when he wants and tries to make his Fern friend do his work for him. And on that note, Cole is decent at getting what he wants. His natural flair and charm comes through his flirting and even when he’s not flirting with someone (as there have been a few he has learned to Avoid At All Costs), he can be pretty persuasive and likes to think he can talk his way out of most difficult situations or into places he may not supposed to even be in. Cole’s Oleander placement is pretty accurate.
All this said, the boy is actually someone who is scared of getting close to people and who doesn’t get a lot of attention at home, both part of the reasons why he flirts and acts out at CLOUD. Of course he also enjoys flirting but deep down he holds real romantic prospects at a distance because of something that happened in his past romantically. So it may be an awkward situation if and when he genuinely likes someone enough to be with them because he’s actively trying not to do that. Of course he does genuinely love flirting, too.
Cole is the type of kid who also just likes to eat and laze around--he tends to have a large appetite, while he enjoys playing video games when he's supposed to be working or when he has time off. He can be a bit reckless sometimes, and likes getting a small adrenaline rush, but overall Cole prefers to stay home or inside versus doing something outside. He also loves undercover work because its always fun for him to act and play a character--never mind the fact part of him would love to be an actor. He just thinks it would be cool, and he loves watching live action movies and TV shows and is the person is always up to date on pop culture and stuff, which can make him kind of annoying to be around.
Oh, and Cole is also an avid drinker. Yes, he is underage, but the boy has false IDs that he gets Katniss to help him make--something is off about that girl, but she comes in handy for his exploits into getting some alcohol when he wants it. He has also been known to sneak off property with help from some Jasmine friends and go partying best he can. Of course, he's gotten caught before, but his smooth-talking charm usually helps him get out of most trouble.
He also kinda hates most heroics? Honestly he's here because his father had attended and because it gets him away from his father at most points in his life--his father's fine, a really nice guy, just...Cole doesn't like living up to his expectations. So he wants to leave, and sure, he kinda wants to not be an agent but whatever, it's somewhere Cole can lie and go undercover and have fun. Yes, he kind of sees CLOUD as a joke. Oh well, he appreciates the subject eduction in math and science and history and languages.
As for pranks. Yes. Cole is a jokester and prankster and has left many impressions on others by pranking them in some harmless (or not so harmless) way. But overall he's more about the flirting.
Cole is also kind of vain in a way and has a bit of an ego.

Cole was born to two CLOUD agents, a Wisteria-graduate father and a Fern-graduate mother. His mother, Sarah, died giving birth to him, something that while his father, Andrew, never blamed him for, Cole just always grew up fearing he was hated for that. So, Andrew raised his son as an only child, teaching him how to defend himself early, which...while Cole liked it, the kid found that his father just placed too much pressure on him, and it often began to ignore fights between them when Cole was six and older. It also didn't help that his father would leave on missions and Cole would be left wondering if he'd even come back, and he began to feel like his dad went and left him on purpose, or because he cared more about saving the world than spending time with his son. And when he did come back, he got mad because Cole would always be playing video games or something. But he was always worried that his dad wouldn't come home and it kept his mind off of that.
But the pressure and whatnot became too much, and at ten, Cole started acting up--he'd say rude things in school to get attention, and he'd purposely annoy his father for attention, too, he was just also really lonely. It got worse when he tried alcohol at a friend's house at twelve, liked it, and took a whole case home. Andrew caught him and there was a lot of yelling. Cole, always struggling between wanting Andrew's approval and feeling like he was unwanted and left out, then took the chance when CLOUD reached out to him at age twelve, and left.
Maybe his father could just be happy Cole was out of his life, holidays aside, now. His father also never liked how Cole was already flirting and being annoying at school at ages ten and eleven, and yet he didn't stop at CLOUD and it got worse because apparently his father had been a good student and the teachers expected the same from Cole, who purpose started to screw around to get attention and prove how much he hated the heroic ideals of saving the world. Well, it was what it was and his behavior got worse and he became a flirt and a playboy the older he got, while still liking the education he received. Placed in Oleander, he was relieved--an excuse to be a liar! Yes! And someone who excelled any undercover work! Also yes! And away from his father's house and legacy a bit--thank goodness.
When Cole was sixteen, he met and fell for a Fern student, Charlotte, and he actually respected her enough to put aside his playboy ways, and the two dated for a good year, where Cole actually felt valued and happy and she was happy, too: the two were perfect for each other: playing pranks, breaking curfew, sneaking out...but that's what ended up being the downfall for the couple, too. One evening, Charlotte and Cole decided to sneak off premise when they were about seventeen, and when they were caught, Cole, horrified, made an easy lie since he had perfected charming his way out—he blamed Charlotte because he was worried CLOUD would call his dad (again) and they were in a rough place and he really didn’t want to hear the disappointment. And Charlotte could hardly get a word in as Cole blamed her and she got in trouble and be got in less trouble.
But ever since that day, when she broke up with him, Cole had felt absolutely horrible, and he knows it’s his fault or that he should have taken half the blame even as Charlotte had tried to defend herself. Cole was distraught and hated himself and hence why he holds romantic partners as a distance now—he doesn’t want to hurt them they way he selfishly hurt Char. He’s been maybe half trying to find a way to reconnect with her and apologize but she ignores him, avoids him, and blocked his number and social media accounts. Cole is heartbroken and that is another reason he threw himself back into dating and one night make out sessions even more. As a distraction. So his reckless, class clown, playboy behavior is back again and with a vengeance, and he still kind of wants to make his dad proud while also make his own way in life. And deep down he wants to be loved.

Sansa is someone who genuinely wants to help people. She wants to make the world so much better and joined CLOUD to do so, believing wholeheartedly in what they stand for, being a hero. Even though Sansa is selfless--she doesn't care if she's a hero or gets recognition, she just wants to protect and help and heal, and this is a way she can do that. She's a kind-hearted, compassionate person, selfless to the point of death and will go out of her way to make sure someone has comfort or feels like they're not alone. Open-minded, open-hearted, she's just so dang sweet.
However, Sansa is also very timid, and soft-spoken, and she gets nervous around large crowds and too many people, especially when there's a lot of noise and lights--basically, the party scene and concerts are not her cup of tea. She's not a fan of public speaking, and is also incredibly shy and quiet, and while the girl dislikes bullies and abhors violence--she's a pacifist--she is too afraid to really stand up for herself or others, though she will go stand by the side of someone being bullied and suffer the pain with them, and then speak to them alone when the bullies leave, or she'll go and get a professor. She just won't verbally or physically confront anyone.
Sansa is also very intelligent and medically-oriented. So, Sansa is...well, she suffers from some social anxiety more than any other type of anxiety. She's always afraid people are judging her, even if they're not, or that they'll looking or talking about her, and she's worried what others think even as part of her is secure in who she is; that is. she's happy in Fern and hates it when people put her house down. Sometimes, she stammers when she speaks, but she's much better and less anxious around one or two people or in the infirmary where she's more confidence and feels like she can get los in her work.
She likes science and inventions and working with her hands in the labs, but she's the Fern who, instead of making bombs, makes devices to protect CLOUD agents or simply and harmlessly incapacitate an enemy. She also spends time working on serums that can save lives, and when she's not found in the labs, she can be found in the infirmary, helping out. She's not huge on making poisons and actively refuses to make anything that kills or brings someone a lot of pain, even if it wares off, but she will make, again, mixtures that are much less lethal or are helpful and harmless. She's also medically trained, and likes working in the infirmary because it not only makes her feel useful, but she feels that she can help people this way as well. Sansa is not a squeamish person, and is one who stays calm in emergencies.
She loves the outdoors, just not going on high adventures--that is, she'll study outside, walk through gardens, and go on relatively mild hikes, and garden, but she will not go bungee jumping or wander off the trail or something, but she loves the sunshine and bright, spring days with a bit of breeze.
Additionally, she's forgiving and is not someone who is easily angered (well, she can get angry but she holds it in--it's more like she can get upset and frustrated with the lack of kindness in the world), but she does forgive and move on even if she never forgets. She'll give people second, sometimes even third, chances, which...is probably not great for someone who is supposed to be a spy, but oh well. She trusts a lot. Maybe too easily, and she's also a typically patient person. She's super smart but not always great at reading people, assuming either everyone in a room is talking about her, or, if meeting someone one on one, and they seem nice, automatically thinks they're trustworthy. So. Oleanders are not her favorite people because they can easily dupe someone.
Sansa is also a very dedicated and hard worker, while she will strive for anything she puts her mind to. She can be hard on herself, but she understands people all make mistakes; she's not a full perfectionist, just a bit.

Sansa was born to two absolutely loving parents, neither of whom were CLOUD agents, and she lived a relatively normal life with them and a little sister, Malia, who is about four years her junior. Her parents were on the wealthier side, so life was comfortable: the two girls had a private education through their acceptances into CLOUD. Sansa found early she was in love with school and education--she adored all her science classes, and found history of diseases and medicines as fascinating, and by the time she was seven she already had some really neat ideas for medical advancements and ideas for things that could help people. Her parents were impressed, and the girl ended up in an advanced science after-school program to help advance her learning even more, where she was really happy.
Now, Sansa was always shy; she just was, it was part of her nature. But her real school anxiety started at age seven, when some kids at school began to bully her--not a lot, but enough about her clothes and hair, enough to make her insecure, and it continued until she was nine years old and she just got self-conscious and paranoid everyone was talking about her. Thankfully, her parents tried to help convince her this was not true.
But what wasn't great was when Sansa's father died of cancer when she was nine and a half. Her parents had hid it from her and Malia, not wanting to frighten them, but when he died, Sansa closed up and became even more scared and quiet than she already was, and only her two best friends who she'd known since she was a child (as they lived on either side of her home), could get through to her, and kind of her mother as well. Something else that helped her cope though was her determination to find a cure for cancer. In her mind, it was possible and it's still something she's working on.
When she was twelve, she and her mother got the notice, the invitation, for her to attend CLOUD. Being a spy or agent was never something Sansa had considered before, and at first she refused until she and her mother decided to just give it a try two weeks later. so she joined and was placed in Fern. She was even more petrified and anxious because she was in a new, tougher place, but she was able to find comfort in the infirmary--she went right to them and the doctors and scientist and presented some ideas and designs and stated her desire to help, and they agreed, seeing some of her work. But as she went through the Academy, she realized how revulsed she was when it came to firearms and violence--it was sickening. Wisteria made her sick, especially the students who goaded fights and stuff. She understood the need, sort of, of having someone defending a squad or needing to defend herself--and she grudgingly knows how now--but...she realized she was a pacifist. So she actually talked with admin about this, and they allow for her to remain out of most combat classes so long as she knows the basics and keeps up her good work in the intelligence arena and carries non-lethal weapons when she goes on missions, and she has agreed to this.
Sansa was delighted when Malia joined at twelve, but her sister was placed in Jasmine, which Sansa found fitting enough for her. They are still pretty close, and are both close with their mother, too, who is loving and supportive of her daughters, and of Sansa, who came out as bi when she was fourteen. At the Academy, sometimes she was bullied and teased for being so quiet and for her sanity, which of course just made it worse, but other than that she's pretty happy and wants to serve on missions as a medic and a tech-y, or someone ho knows her science. All three, really. She wants to help protect people, make the world safer, and be there for others, help heal them if she can.

Katniss is what a lot of people refer to as an excitable puppy, full of energy and way too loyal. It’s true that’s she gets so excited by everything around her—she’s a curious optimist, always finding the good in other people and the events she’s entering or is put into. Of course, her cheerful demeanor an agitate a lot of others, and Katniss is used to slight teases as well as snarky comments and being told she talks too much, but most of the time she doesn’t let it get to her. Katniss is also someone who isn’t afraid to stand up for herself or tell someone off, and she’s also someone to casually slip into conversation that they’re being an idiot, if she believes they are. But she’s also pretty open minded, bullies aside.
While Katniss does talk a lot, she’s genuinely enthralled by a lot of what she sees around the world—she finds new things fascinating and loves science and discovery. She’s also an extrovert who pounces on the chance to meet new people, and she’s friendly and wants to make as many friends as possible, often being a CLOUD trainee admin recommends to help first years transition, or anyone else coming after that year who may be picked up along the way. She’s never short on conversation, but sometimes this can make her a bad listener because she’ll jump in and interrupt people—and kh, can she get frustrated so, so easily—so her conversation skills can be a bit off sometimes.
And so can she. Katniss is a pathological liar. It's as easy as breathing for her and she quite enjoys it. The girl lies about everything--she lies and she covers things up, whether or not they're actually something that shouldn't be covered up. So, while she's friendly. she's also someone who will convince you to tell her your darkest secret and you won't realize her's manipulating you until it's too late. Katniss genuinely wants to meet people, but she's also meeting and scouting people, seeing who would get in the way of her group's desire to rule the school or something. Or who would be a bit fun to mess with...or genuinely have as a friend. You kinda never know with this one. Oh well? Anyway, she's lies and charms, but maybe that's not even the worst part about her. Katniss is...losing it. She has an odd, concerning fascination with blood (it's pretty!) and she loves to look at it and will kill bugs just to see it. And honestly, part of her wishes she was a bit saner and sometimes she has panic attacks about the fact she's a horrible person, and will at time try and be better, but other times she accepts who she is. A bit insane and crazy.
All this said, she really does love meeting new people for more innocent friendship reasons as well versus manipulating people and lying to their faces, but the scary thing with Katniss is that you just never know if its a good day or a crazy day, or a mixture. Even Katniss may not know until something happens. That all said, she's a very loyal person who quite loves to stick to her guns. She also loves hiking and the outdoors, and she's the person who makes back up and escape plans for every mission while also never failing to bring her charming smile and silver tongue and somewhat remorseless ability to lie wherever she goes.
To be honest a good name for her is the queen of contradictions because she just…is. She is friendly and curious but she’s also someone who will cover up a murder while gushing about how nice the body’s blood looks so really, it’s a puzzle with her. Oh and one more thing—as nice as Katniss may seem to a newcomer, she’s also the person who, despite breaking rules herself, may rat someone out if they’re doing something at CLOUD they shouldn’t be.

strengths: she sees the good in every situation and person, and while this is a strength in a sense, it can be a weakness too because she’s training to be a spy; she can’t be super trusting. Liar liar liar--she's a pathological liar, while also has a talent and brain for thinking up cover stories that are believable for instances that need to be covered up. She's very mentally quick on her feet.

Katniss was born to parents who help sponsor CLOUD, who CLOUD kind of oversees. They see her group as a bit of a problem, a group that will take over for their parents. But like the others Katniss, ambitious and crazy, wants more.
Anyway, she was born to parents, one from Jasmine, who is extremely stealthy and quick, and one in Oleander. Together, they taught their daughter what they knew: stealth and charm, and Katniss picked up on both. It was a deadly combination from parents who practically spoiled their daughter, as well, who were so poured their little girl was able to persuade and manipulate people and get what she wanted from the staff in their home (they're rich), while also sneaking around and taking what she wanted when she was told she couldn't have it, like, extra desert.
In any case, Katniss was encouraged by her parents, was trained early. It helped she was their favorite child, which was a problem but that’s the way it was. So, she never went to an actual school, but was trained at home as well as by private CLOUD tutors early on who taught her academics. Katniss was actually a younger sibling--she had an older brother, who had been her best friend. She used to follow him everywhere, doing whatever she could to get his attention as a child and a toddler, and he usually engaged her until one day when he snapped. He told her was an annoying, chattery burden who nobody liked and who talked way too much to people who didn't care at all.
This hurt. Her brother, her best friend, rejected her. He was sick and tired of her chattering, especially as she got older and he got more mature.
Katniss, absolutely heartbroken, did anything she could to try and gain his approval again. Her parents were disappointed in their son, too, after he pushed his younger sister away, but her brother hated the family. The real reason he snapped at Katniss was because her parents favored her--she was liking their kinda chaotic CLOUD ways, whereas he just never had an interest, and wanted to be an artist and get out of what he saw as a conspiracy situation with the government and CLOUD, and out of a family that never seemed to favor him. Katniss just drew all their attention so he was jealous and wanted someone to shun her. So he left after leaving her feeling a bit insecure.
Nevertheless, Katniss never stopped trying to reach put to him and ask what she did wrong. Of course, Katniss did have friends, particularly in the other heads of the overall organizations, (names TBD--collab), who she knew and befriended early on. They all were a bit chaotic in terms of their confidence and just the way they acted. Her Jasmine friend was a bit of a thief, for one, for example, and Katniss quote enjoyed covering up all their shenanigans, which definitely didn’t go away and probably got worse when they all got recruited into CLOUD at twelve.
Katniss, at the school, definitely never stopped her own chaos, and kind of became more insane as the years went on, something she was and is aware of and is…slightly a concern to her. In any case, she and her friends definitely have their goals, while they know everyone around the Academy expects them to take their parents’ place, Katniss isn’t sure that’s what she really wants. In any case, the girl does really well in her classes, placed in Oleander and quite fittingly, too. She thrives in being a charming, slick cover up with a penchant for stealth as well, though her lying habits just became so much worse. The brunette can’t really help herself, honestly. Lying is kind of like breathing for her so she keeps covering up antics and stuff; she helps people come up with excuses, while she’s also still someone admin likes to throw on newbies to show them around. After all; Katniss likes new people and making friends so she’s always happy to be of service in that respect. Once again, she’s kind of a contradictory situation overall. And part of her tries hard to really fix the missing link in her own head, but the other part of her really doesn’t care to, and part of her pathological lying has become her lying her to herself. It’s a problem.

hugo is a very nervous and jumpy person. he's easily startled and tends to overthink everything. he's extremely socially awkward and tries to avoid situations where there's even a chance he might have to talk to someone face-to-face. he'd be happy to go completely unnoticed by everyone if he could. unfortunately, his tics make that extremely difficult. the random chirps and clicking noises he makes draw unwanted attention, mostly negative, and he can't control it.
to be honest, hugo's attachments to people might be a little unhealthy. he's so used to people being assholes to him that the second someone is kind to him just once, they're just stuck with him. forever. no refunds, no returns. it can make him very easy to manipulate. be nice to him one time, and suddenly he'd do anything for you. it's kinda fucked up. he's a definite pushover, terrible at standing up for himself in any situation. his go-to strategy when people like alianna walk into the same room as him is to try to make himself as small and unnoticeable as possible and pray his tics aren't too loud.
hugo is a very kind person, although most people don't talk to him enough to realize that. he's extremely compassionate and wears his heart on his sleeve, and every little comment people make about him cuts deep. his empathy level is ridiculously high - he hates seeing other people hurting or upset. everything matters to him. why does it matter more? it shouldn't. he hates how much he cares; it makes him feel weak and pathetic, but he can't stop. it all hurts so much all the time.
hugo's main strength, his secret weapon, is his intelligence. all kinds of math and science come naturally to him, be it computers or plants or machines or anything. he doesn't get many chances to show off how smart he is, keeping most of his thoughts to himself, but someone asking about his theories would be a dream come true. hugo also has an extremely enhanced echoic memory - not photographic - and remembers everything he hears (in fact, several of his most frequent tics are birdcalls he's heard). he excels in every subject that requires mental work rather than physical. his intelligence is the only thing he'd even consider priding himself on.

hugo is tall and gangly, roughly 6'1, with very little muscle on his frame. he's not very athletic at all, horrible in combat and parkour and really any class that requires physical activity. his hands are usually covered in bandages from small injuries in the workshop. his hair is long and black, going down to just above his shoulders and framing his entire face. his eyes are dark brown, and he actually has a very pretty face, which more people would see if he didn't spend most of his time looking down at the ground.
hugo has tourette syndrome - "uncontrollable repetitive movements or unwanted sounds (tics), such as repeatedly blinking the eyes, shrugging shoulders, or blurting out offensive words." he has several tics, but the main ones are birdcalls he's heard before, a repetitive clicking noise, and throwing whatever's in his hands at the moment. he gets mocked for these tics a lot, and he can't control it, which makes the bullying even worse.
hugo really just wears whatever he has, usually comfortable sweaters and jeans. he tries not to draw attention to himself with his clothing, making an effort to appear as plain and unassuming as possible.

both of hugo's parents were retired cloud agents who'd met in training at the academy. the two of them were some of the most silent, stealthy people you could ever meet, both having been sorted into jasmine during their academy years. when hugo turned out to be, well... very bad at stealth, they grew to be very overprotective of him. they loved their son a lot, but they were a little overbearing with the way they always tried to protect him from literally everything. when he got invited to attend the academy, they were ecstatic - and then worried. what if he got bullied? what if he was the outsider? what if someone took advantage of him? it took him weeks to convince them that he could do it and that he'd be safe and everything would be fine. and then when he finally went, it was just like they'd said. he was bullied and ignored and treated like a freak, the same way he's been every single year he's been training here. he's been here for six years and has yet to make a single friend. still, hugo makes an effort to hide this from his parents, and he's succeeded so far. if they knew, they'd be horrified, they'd blame themselves, he'd be pulled from the academy, whatever. it'd be a mess, and he can't take that. as miserable as he is, he still wants to be here. it'll be fine once he graduates, and eventually he'll find a team that likes him and doesn't mind the tics. eventually. right?

he isn't really that complicated of a person, really. Ivan is extremely socially awkward and gets nervous a lot. He seems to be a rather anxious person, but he's not completely socially inept and can pick up on signals. he has a lot of trouble holding conversations with others sometimes though and doesn't usually know how to talk to others when it comes to more serious issues. he is incredibly smart though, as you'd expect from a fern. he can go on for days about the things that interest him and possible ideas. he spends most of his time working on things rather than around people as a result. he's the type who'd get bullied. even if that is the case, he is very prideful. even if he gets bullied or anything of the sort, he'd never say anything about it nor would he give them the satisfaction of seeing him upset.
while he doesn't seem like the athletic type, one of the few things he does enjoy is running. it's fun for him and while he might be lanky, he's pretty fast. for him, running was always his escape. to run away from the situation at hand, from the world. if he ran far enough, perhaps he'd be able to escape it all.
ivan is someone who, believe it or not, is usually pretty calm. sure, he gets anxious and everything because of his anxiety, but other than that, he's able to suck it up even when he's angry and make proper decisions. he's definitely not the field type though. he's the dorky type that is usually on the sidelines, more familiar with theory than combat. he doesn't want to burden anyone, so the sidelines is where he stays.
ivan is someone who likes to smile a lot, and while he's awkward, is incredibly kind and usually gets along with others fine once he gets passed that awkward phase. he gets excited over the little things and is always happy to just be there. his emotions pretty much show on his face usually and he's a bit goofy.
despite his anxiousness, awkwardness, and lack of general confidence, he's actually quite the extrovert and is usually pretty friendly with others. it definitely comes off as awkward, but he isn't really the type to shy away and be quiet either. this has also led to a lot of failed attempts of trying to become friends with people, between his tenseness and bad jokes.

ivan is incredibly tall for his age, standing around 5'7". he's always been on the taller side since he was younger, so it's nothing new. however, he used to be teased a lot because of it. the male weighs around 123 lbs. he's a bit underweight, but it's fine for now. it's largely due to the fact that he would get absorbed in something and forget to eat. he has dark, green eyes that are really hard to extinguish unless you look at them up close.
he has distinguishing bushy eyebrows that actually seem to work for him. his hair is a short, dark brown curly mess at most times. the male has large ears and pale skin. another distinguishing detail about the male is that he has a small beauty mark in the middle of his cheek, as well as two on his neck on the same side, as well as one on the opposite side. they aren't very obvious and are usually hidden by his collar.
the male prefers more formal type clothing and usually wears collared shirts with ties. however, he also likes more comfortable clothing like sweaters and such. honestly, it just depends on how he's feeling. he's a very colorful person and really likes the colors black, blue, and pink. he likes cute things as well and might wear little decorations like hearts.
while he might not seem very athletic, he has long legs and he's pretty quick on his feet. though, because he's so tall, he's also clumsy and probably shouldn't be assigned to missions where he has to be on the field.

just like his personality, his background isn't exactly complicated. he grew up in a fairly large family with three older brothers, two older stepbrothers, and three older step-sisters. being in such a large family didn't mean that he had much support or had a loving family that spent time together though. his father and stepmother were always busy working to provide for him and his siblings were often doing their own things. no one really wanted to hang out with the youngest after all. thankfully, one of his older step-sisters would hang out with him when she could, despite being six years apart. they'd spend a lot of time together compared to the others and she was the first person he came out to. he eventually came out to the others, though, she was the only one out of the step-family that were really happy about it and accepted him. his three older brothers accepted it, but it was quite clear they were very awkward about it and weren't sure how to deal with it. they were at least trying their best. his father was very open to it though and even admitted to being bisexual himself and that they would be there for him as he figured himself out. it was when he came out that the family began to drift apart. there were a lot of arguments between his homophobic step-mother and his father. they eventually got a divorce and she took her children. the step-sister he had gotten along with was already of age though and decided to stay, in which she was officially adopted by his father. now he lives in a more accepting environment and is actually pretty happy with himself and who he is, though it took a while to accept himself.

From an early age Iris was bullied. She was never fast enough, never strong enough to fight off her antagonists. When her mother died the tormentation never lessened it only got worse. It was like now the bullies had an even more of an opportunity. Things were hell at first, the constant need of escape and the lurking reality of her life.
What was the final straw was her twelfth birthday. She was walking home, as normal, when she had been tackled by a classmate. Her brother found her nursing her wounds in the bathroom. He enrolled her at the academy as soon as she became of age.

On her fourteenth birthday she had been celebrating with her brother with a simple present and cake when a wave of exhaustion hit her. so she did the normal, excused herself and went straight to her dorm. he's definitely a peculiar one. he comes from a rather famous family of wisterias, who belong to an organization that supports CLOUD while providing cover to the public for the group. As one of the families that hugely support the organization and are actual members of it, he's pretty widely known by most up-and-coming cloud agents. As the prodigal son and heir to his family's business, he, like the others in his "friend" group is pretty widely known around the school. as such, his personality does match what you'd expect from someone in the spotlight. he appears arrogant and is quite prideful. everyone who knows how he is would describe him as just another spoiled rich kid. however, spoiled or not, he's extremely skilled in what he does. he grew up in a house of wisterias, those who wanted him to continue their legacy. naturally, his brilliance when it came to design and mechanics came as a surprise to everyone. he, who his parents so openly bragged about being the next wisteria to bring glory to their family, was actually a fern. since then, he's come known to be one of the more violent ferns, preferring to be on the field using his tech and such rather than just sitting behind a desk in the safety of a base or anything of the sort. as violent as the wisterias in his family, yet as smart as a fern. he may have been lacking in strength, but he's definitely made a name for himself and shaped the image he wanted, something he takes great pride in. the male's ego is rather large it seems, even seeing threats or insults as something to feed his ego.
despite his supposedly violent nature, the male is actually quite tactful. he's not the type to jump into something without properly thinking it through. he's not necessarily a coward and will definitely take risks if needed, but he doesn't believe in plain brute force either. despite how cruel rumors make the male out to be, he's actually quite calm and chill. heck, classy even. as someone who grew up more privileged than others, he believes that one must not act tactless and that everything should be done with a certain level of 'class'. though, for him, class is more so style than anything. as long as you got style, for him, it doesn't matter who you are.
he's actually pretty fun and goofy once you get to know him. he is still a kid after all. he mostly just wants to have fun and enjoy himself. this is why he's more or so become known as a troublemaker of the sort, as he's always causing some kind of trouble just to have a little bit of fun.
he also likes keeping strong, capable people by his side and seems to favor those who are more capable of protecting and helping themselves rather than damsels in distress. after all, while he loves feeding his ego, he doesn't exactly have a hero complex. not to mention, what's more, amazing than a woman who can protect and speak for themselves? they are far more amusing than those who are weak and expect the strong to do everything for them.
he's always looking for something new and amusing and while he may not have a hero complex or anything, he believes in chivalry. no, not the distorted image some people have that it's something about helping some damsel in distress or protecting the weak or something. his ideal version of chivalry is someone who has courage, honor, and courtesy. just like actual chivalry, but without the justice and helping the weak part. after all, he doesn't exactly believe in justice. chivalry is being able to show respect to others, regardless of status, opposition, or gender. after all, only foolish people underestimate those around them.
while he has ideas of chivalry and such, as his name suggests, he more or so is a poison to society. rather than helping others and such, he more or so is just looking for something to keep him entertained while also looking for those who can be of use to him. sure, hard work and everything get you places, but so does having an eye for people. surrounding yourself with useless people will only harm you in the end. the world isn't a great place you can just live in without a care in the world after all.

sam is more or so on the smaller side, standing around 5'2". despite being as short as he is, it doesn't seem to bother him too much. though, being treated as a child on the other hand does bother him a lot. while he doesn't seem too impressive or anything, he's actually pretty athletic. he makes a point of maintaining his figure. he has a lean figure and while he doesn't have a big frame, he does have some muscle. he weighs around 120 lbs, his body measurements being 41-30-36. ( chest, waist, hip ).
the male usually has neat, short brown hair. he doesn't bother to really style it much, but he does prefer that it doesn't get too crazy, so he passes a comb through it every once and a while. the male has tannish skin as he spends a lot of his time outside. while he doesn't smile too much in front of others, when he does smile, there is a visible dimple that he believes only adds to his charm.

he grew up in a rather prestigious family. despite how amazing that might seem and how great he makes it seem, it's not all it cracks up to be. from a young age, a lot of expectations and eyes were on him. people expect him to be this great wisteria worthy of inheritance, not caring about what he enjoys. rather, if he did not match wisteria's criteria, they'd just make sure he did. he spent a long time following what his parents wanted. all of the training was exhausting though and he didn't particularly look favorably on his father's way of thinking. it was ignorant and dull. of course, there were severe repercussions for not doing as he was told hence why he followed it for so long. it was painful when he didn't, after all. it was around when he entered the school and was sorted into the fern house that he stopped caring as much about what his parents wanted. he would act out, he would do as he wished, and would neglect the training times. his parents didn't think too favorably of this and still don't. he still has to deal with the punishments to this day. however, with each passing 'punishment', he only gets worse and worse.

kasey has a certain sort of "jester's privilege" around the academy - the ability to talk and mock without consequence. they talk freely with everyone, with some lighthearted yet merciless teasing in store for anyone who crosses their path, and yet nobody stops them. why? well, because everyone is well aware that if she wanted to, she could be so much worse. they're loyal to almost nobody, and while they may be friendly with everyone, it's best to hold them at arm's length. it doesn't matter how nice she might seem, how funny you think she is - you should always remember that she can and will stab you in the back without batting an eye.
it might not be easy to tell, but keavy doesn't participate much in all the chaos. they're there watching, egging everyone on, but they're never the one doing the stupid shit. she's just along for the ride, and she has no problem with vanishing the second it looks like the group will get caught. it's also worth mentioning that their moral compass is not only a little skewed, but practically nonexistent. she has no problem with murder or stealing or doing whatever she needs to get things done, and she has no problem with other people doing it either. it's all jokes to them. that's the big thing, really - everything is a joke. life is simply a game, and keavy carson has the cheat codes.

key is a small girl, around 5'1, with a slim, slight build. she has very little muscle, but what she lacks in physical strength she makes up for with her extreme agility and acrobatic skill. they're very fast, to the point where it's like they appear out of thin air and vanish just as quick. there one second, gone the next. she has tanned skin and dark brown hair and eyes, with a very pretty face. their voice is silvery and light, and they tend to giggle a lot when they speak. she is also extremely hypermobile and very flexible, and she seems to find it funny to startle people with weird contortionist-esque poses.
keeper's clothing style is very... bold. yeah. that's what we'll call it. they're very flashy with the things they wear, because it's both fun and adds an extra little challenge to sneaking around. their main "thing" is combining the clothes of two completely different eras to create some horrific and yet funky frankenstein style. currently, her favorite combination is the nineties plus victorian era men's clothing. how might you combine the two? well, i don't know, but she does, and she has plenty of fun with it.

Backstory:

A/N: This might be long. I want to warn you, I'm spoilering it ALL because of serious trigger warnings. Sorry it's a lot. As I always say: I make characters with intense histories because I need to vent. Right now, Ace is basically a life-saver. I'm not gonna go into detail, it's not anyone else's business, but don't tell me I don't understand. I do. And I warned you, so read at your own discretion.

Ace was the youngest, and the lest kid to be born. His mother passed a few years later due to severe marital abuse. After that, his father turned all the rage onto him and his siblings, who in turn took it out on Ace. He was far too young to understand anything that was happening to him. Ace found release when his father offered him a cigar, which he'd accidentally burned himself with. Ace found a way out, albeit negative, but at least he was alive, right? He drank what was given, all to numb his pain. The more he drank, the less the broken bones hurt. The less he hurt. Of course, this substance abuse didn't last long. Over the course of two years, new pain sprung up that he couldn't get out. - If you are reading this to verify my character, this part includes the rape. Detailed. The older boy leapt onto Ace, pinning him down and stripping him of his clothes.

If he didn't die, what was he? God. By now, Ace was 13, and he got accepted into some prestigious school. Both brothers had moved away, and he would too. Away from the abuse, the pain, the worthlessness. In the outside world, he had time to reflect. Ace realized there must be a reason he was still alive, right? He was god. He couldn't die.
