I need a second opinion on two potential merge candidates, because I've never done such a thing.

I stumbled over two editions from "Im Auge des Zebras" by Vincent Kliesch, because my girlfriend wanted to add this to her bookshelf.

There are two editions released on the same date number one was created by a user without an ISBN an has the cover of my girlfriends version, number two was created by amazon_kcw with a different cover (different sticker to be precise) but the right ISBN.

If you search the ISBN on Amazon, you'll find the cover of number one but in the pictures there is also number two.

This all let me think that this two editions are duplicates.

And now the question on a second, third or fourth opinion from you.
Do you thing the same or that these are no duplicates?

BR

Efreak (efreak2004) | 4 comments They could be separate editions or they could be the same edition with different covers. I've got duplicates of several books where the same edition with same ISBN, contents, and page count has multiple covers, possibly due to being printed for different sellers, reprints, or other reasons (some of them have been purchased via scholastic book orders at school, such as Maniac Magee, IIRC).

In this case, I'd say the sticker on the cover is irrelevant.

Renske | 12223 comments Is it a sticker or is it printed on the cover? if it is printed they are alternate cover editions. if it is a physical sticker, I'm not completely sure whether that counts as alternate cover editions or if the cover without the stickers is the actual cover.
