In this book, a retired spy/CIA operative is walking down the street when he sees a symbol on a park bench or light pole and is called back into the life of a spy. The spy is a family man, married with children and his family does not know about his past profession. I believe it was written by David Baldacci or Nelson Demille and I read it in 1997-2001ish. I recall there being a fight scene between the spy and the bad guys that are after him that takes place on the rafters of a bridge or building. Thank you for your help.
