Thank you moderators for recommending this book! I enjoyed it and had not heard of it before. thought it had terrific world building and a great story. I even went right on to the second one and enjoyed it too!
The library finally told me today I can finally pick up a copy. I had no idea this was so popular because every library in my county has at least one copy and it took almost 8 weeks for my hold.

The dream chooses the dreamer, not the other way around—and Lazlo Strange, war orphan and junior librarian, has always feared that his dream chose poorly. Since he was five years old he’s been obsessed with the mythic lost city of Weep, but it would take someone bolder than he to cross half the world in search of it.
