June 2022 Word of the Month (nominations)

Then we take the word we voted on and read a book starting with a letter in the word, or an author's name/surname that starts with the letter.

I was thinking about winter approaching and I think it will be a cold one. My nomination is Baji meaning coat or jacket.

I agree on your assessment of it being a cold winter this year, Marlese. March has been much cooler than usual here in Joburg. Some trees started changing colour in late February which is not the case usually.

I'll go for YIMA which means Wait.
