I am trying to find a book or a book series Can anyone help me?
its a book about a wizard apprentice who used to be a thief, after his master dies(or something) somehow the boy summons a inhuman (a prefect I think) then they gets(go to) teleported to a new dimension and eventually gets the MC a pet dragon. also I remember a part where a child shows up who can use high level magic but in her dimension(world) is an elementary school mage.
I'm not sure what the book title is however I do know that It not "the magic thief".
This is a pretty old book that I'm looking for I don't remember the exact year though.

Sounds like the Myth series by Robert Aspirin. The summoned dimension walker, or demon for short, is a type called a Pervect, which others mispronounced as "Pervert" on purpose. The little girl would I think indicate the specific book as "Little Myth Marker", or one of the books shortly after that one in series
