YA Teen Girl Book Published before 2007 main character has imaginary boyfriend that has characteristics of her dad or brother who has passed, spends lots of time with him, even though he's not there. Skips school. Seems to rain a lot. The cover was blue or dark. I originally purchased this around the same time as the Boyfriend List, but this was not as light hearted, but more serious. It seems like she wrote in a journal a lot too. She thinks the boyfriend is real until the end, when she realizes he's not, then I believe she goes to therapy.
