That's great Tom.

I just finished it yesterday, and I really loved it! I'll post more tonight when I have time. As he often does, Ishiguro has taken a story about something huge and societal, but he looks at it from a limited perspective that feels so intimate. I found the book immensely moving!

Ruth | 756 comments I just started it today.

Tom | 859 comments The thing I find about Ishiguro is his novels are like banquet tables. Full spread, and readers can chew on whatever takes their fancy.
