Stan sees Teri’s encounter with Joel Hogan in the cafeteria and follows them to the parking lot, intervening when she’s cornered by her car. Did she need “saving” at the time? How did he do, considering that Joel was an officer and he wasn’t?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments Stan did great at controlling his anger and getting Teri out of the situation. Unfortunately, she did need saving. She was just paralyzed, which I found troubling. There wasn't much else he could have done to the "officer" otherwise he would have been in big trouble.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I like that Stan took the incident outside instead of saying something around the other people in the club. It gave both Teri and Joel a way to save face. Teri did need saving in a way. Stan's reaction gave Teri a witness and made Joel step down.

Boy, did he thread the proverbial needle here. Teri definitely needed help, even without knowing her history and baggage. He handled it perfectly.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Yes, she definitely needed saving and he reacted in exactly the right way. Joel is a bully and a coward who backs off as soon as there is someone larger and more intimidating to stand up to him.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Teri did need help with the situation. Stan handled the situation perfectly. The bully backed down when another guy showed up.
