Maybe a lavender or tangerine will fall into your lap. :) I'm always completely convinced that my shelf is riddled with whatever color until I actually go look!

I'm going to try and read
and
. I say try because I've started and put them both aside already. Not that I don't like them really, just because I own them (kindle and real book) and got so behind reading borrowed books and books for bookclubs.
I have the same issue, Bonnie. I'm 2/3 of the way through a long kindle book I've had going for about a year because it keeps getting interrupted.

I bought it ages ago & can't remember why ... probably saw a recommendation by someone on GR. I'm looking forward to reading it.
If anyone needs a suggestion, I happen to be reading a NF book that has both lavender and tangerine in the cover:
At first, I didn't think I had any other books that fit in this category, but I did find a few. Not sure which one(s) I might read in April:

I've heard such great things about Anthropocene. It's on my "to read get" list.

I loved, Where the Crawdads Sing! Hope you enjoy it as well.
Good Luck, Lindsey 😊📚

Joy, I've never read Stegner. I added the two books you talk about because of your review. Thank you for posting that.

I confess I'm envious of you reading Fluke this month. I'm caught up in that series except for the very newest one. It's a fave!

That's disappointing. I hear such good things about this series, and I read the first and enjoyed it. Maybe I'll rush through it to get to #3.

I really enjoyed the retelling Hades/Persephone storyline, but I should have paid attention it was also listed as erotica and the sex was way past my personal comfort level, plus the kind of sex I find yucky. Still, skimming that, the actual characters and story were fun.
If this has enough tangerine on this cover, this will be my selection for that (just found out I was granted an advance copy)
I read the 1st of my many picks -
. This is the secomd book in The Walk series. 5 strong stars. You go on soul searching journey reading these books as the MC makes his journey walking across the US. I laughed, I cried, I loved it!
Finish
An enjoyable YA fantasy set in a medieval setting where the young heroine is a police woman in training. A great mash up of fantasy and a police procedural. Four stars
I like that author but I've been on the fence about that book. Maybe I'll check it out again. :)

I had read A is for Alibi and was considering reading the whole series now. I may still, but not back to back. I liked it, but not as much as some of the newer stuff I'm reading/want to read.

April - finished
Crocodile on the SandbankFun to reread this, but I don't think I'll reread the whole series.
@Eileen: good thing I'm not in danger of having my TBR under any sort of control, because you just added to it.....I'd hate for you to be the one that finally toppled it....
@Laurel - I know what you mean. I have a hard time rereading series where there are so many books I haven't read yet sitting underneath the one that Eileen just put on top of my pile....

I'm the same on that series. I do like to read them occasionally, especially if it's on a cheap e-book deal or at a library booksale.
