Fantasy, medieval vibes

- The book switches from two different points of views, a prince and a boy from a circus.
- The boy from the circus likes a girl there who can talk to animals, griffins, etc.
- prince has a whistle to call his guard friend/mentor
- there’s a threat on the princes life, someone tries to send his horse galloping off a cliff (pretty sure it’s his uncle)
- plot twist, the two boys are actually twins separated at birth and their stories come together in the end.

I read it somewhere around 2015 I think if that helps at all
