SOLVED. Girls Father has an Accident on a boat. From what I remember she travels to their home town to see him and ends up falling inlove with a boy from there. The Cover was a bottle & a storm inside it, & a girl on a boat holding an umbrella I believe.

I’ve been looking forever, a very specific detail that won’t help most probably is that one of the main leads ( the boy I think) lived in a super colourful house like all his neighbours had bright colours as well. I know it’s a YA maybe younger book but I’d super appreciate help finding it…
