SOLVED. Horror/Sci-fi YA Book about Alien Cockroaches and Twins [s]

So basically there a book that I read around the 2000s (2005-2010?) where there are twins (boy and girl) that are in a orphanage. There got encyclopedic knowledge from rereading the encyclopedia several times. Also one of the twins have stinky feet. So two ladies come and adopt them. I believe they end up in a swamp and it turn up the two ladies are coachroach aliens who need the twin stinky feet. They escape from the swamp and on the run from the aliens. I believe it either a YA or even a MG book. It part of a series. The cover for the first book have the coachroach ladies and the twins with one of the ladies close to the male twin feet. The book are dark and I think swamp might be in the book title. I also believe a snake is in it. It also a paperback.
