Addison nvm i see it now!!! wanna start? let’s start at the first day of school, their senior year. they’ll go to the orientation and stuff. they’ll be enemies because Blake thinks he’d too rough and crazy, and Journee thinks Blake annoying and stuff.

message 7: by Addison (new)

Addison It varies. I usually like around 5 sentences, but it can be more or less :)))

message 8: by Addison (new)

Addison ((sorry i forgot where should they live? like what state? they’ll live in the capital of the state unless it’s california or new york))

Journee was late. She zoomed past traffic in the fast lane. She parked in the parking lot designated for seniors, and got out. She wore: tight black long sleeved shirt that makes her breasts pop; black very ripped jeans; white tennis shoes; and her very curly blond-brown hair is down. She wears big silver hoops, silver chain necklaces, and silver bracelets. She runs inside, heading to the gym.

message 9: by Addison (new)

Addison ((okay. the bronx, nyc, new york. awesome!))
((it will in this rp i’ve never been to public school but just from all the books i’ve read that’s what i’ve gotten 😂))

Journey ran to her locker, grabbed her stuff and stuffed it into her black and grey backpack. She walked to the gym, passing a guy. She realized it was Blake. Ugh. She rolled her eyes and took a sip of her venté Starbucks caramel ribbon crunch frappe. She walked past, and walked to the section her friends were. She sat down. Loraine was a very blond girl with freckles and a mole under her right eye. Dahlia was an African-American dark skinned girl with long legs, perfect skin, and wavy black hair. Journee sat in between the two, her best friends.
George, Brian, and Colton were sitting behind them, acting up.

message 10: by Addison (new)

Addison ((lol this is an example of how i can do a ton or only a little 😂 or in the middle hahaha))

message 11: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee rolled her eyes at the chatter. So loud. She couldn’t focus on anything, since her ADHD was acting up. She saw Blake again. “Is the principal almost here?” asked Loraine. Journee shrugged.

message 12: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee yawned, and zoned out watching the principal. The principal talked a lot more, than said, “Now, go to your first class. You are dismissed!” Journee said, “Finally.” quietly. She grabbed her backpack and stood up with everyone else.

message 13: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee went to the back of the class, but saw Blake there. She went a row ahead of him, 2nd to back, 1 row to the left. She put her backpack down, and put her feet on the desk. She pulled out her phone and started watching tiktoks and drinking her Starbucks.

message 14: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee knew how to play it off coolly but not get detention. She had a way. She took her feet off the desk, glancing at Blake. She tried not to grin. “Mr. Brook, I’m sorry, but I had to text my mom about if I’d come to her house today or later this week. You see, my parents are divorced, so that’s our conversations for ya. Hope you understand.” she said smoothly. She brushed a curl from her face, an innocent expression coming to her face.

message 15: by Addison (new)

Addison ((okay see ya 🤘🏼✌🏼))

message 16: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee nodded, then kept watching tiktoks but pretending to text her mom by tapping the screen. Her eyes caught his, and she smiled. She SnapChatted Dahlia, who was in a different class that hour. She could tell Blake was angry at her, but did she care? No. No, she didn’t care at all.

message 17: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee looked up at the board, where the teacher was writing something. It was a lot, but she couldn’t tell what it said, since her dyslexia was intense. All the letters swam. She sighed. She hated school. She couldn’t ever read or understand anything because of how bad her dyslexia was. Even glasses didn’t help at all. She was so different, and it was hard.

message 18: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee stood up and put her phone in her back pocket of her black ripped jeans. She grabbed her backpack and put it on her back. She looked at her schedule, and saw the large print on hers. Tears sprang to her eyes. That was nice of the teachers. She blinked the tears away, not wanting to ruin her heavy mascara or any other thing. She walked out of the classroom, and headed to physics from calculus. She saw Blake ahead, and rolled her eyes at his back.

message 19: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee sat down on her assigned seat, which in this classroom was right beside Blake. She decided to try to take notes. She snapchatted Dahlia one last time, then put her phone up. She glanced at Blake, then pulled out her notebook and a pencil.

message 20: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee looked at the paper. She couldn’t tell what any of it said. Tears again spring into her eyes. Why was everything so hard for her? Ugh.

((btw i gtg in less than 15 minutes for the day ))

message 21: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee walked up to the teacher. “Can I give this to you tomorrow?” The teacher nodded. Journee packed up and left for the next class, which went by fast.
((at lunch))

Journee walked to lunch after her classes, and sat down beside her friends. She grabbed a burger and fries and a chocolate milk and sat down and started eating. She cracked some dark humor jokes, and had the whole table roaring in laughter.

message 22: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee saw Blake watching, and riled her eyes, tossing her hair over her shoulder. She finished eating quickly, then told a hilarious dad joke that sent the whole table in stitched laughing. She adjusted her top, laughing too.

message 23: by Addison (new)

Addison ((*stitches laughing))

message 24: by Addison (new)

Addison ((at the end of the day))

Journee was at her locker, putting her stuff she didn’t need in there, and taking out a few things. She zipped up her backpack, listening to her chatting friends. She pulled out her phone, and saw texts from her dad:
Dad: Journee?
Dad: Jo, listen, I’m sorry about this, but I think I’m gonna need to get you a reading tutor. I know you’ve been struggling lately, which is why I’m thinking about choosing Blake Talaign to be your reading tutor. Please talk to him for me. Hope you understand. Lessons will start tomorrow afternoon, at 4:30 PM, at our house.
Journee: DAD. NO. NOT BLAKE. HE’S SO ANNOYING.
Dad: Journee. Do it.
Journee: 😢😤 fine.
Dad: good girl

Journee looked around for Blake.

message 25: by Addison (new)

Addison (( hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa be careful journee’s dangerous 😂))

Journee saw Blake, took a deep breath, heaved her backpack over her shoulder, and walked towards him. “Hey! Blake! I need to talk to you for a minute.” she said. She reached him, and stood arms crossed. She knew she looked rude, but she always stood like this.

message 26: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee put her arms down, wanting to make herself not as mean as she looked. “Erm… my dad, Ahiga Samerellian, wondered if, uh, you would tutor me in reading? He, uh, said you were good. Your mom told him. The first day would be tomorrow, 4:30, at my house. I’ll send you the address, if you want to, uh, do it.”

message 27: by Addison (new)

Addison ((sorry i’d been doing school. also: here’s Journee’s family:

Family:
Dad: Ahiga Samerellian (single)
Mom: Zoe Pock (single)
Sister: Katie Samerellian (24)(deceased)
Brother: Phillip Samerellian (21) (in college) ))

message 28: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee tried not to be harsh or crazy. It was hard. “Um, here’s my phone number: 718-209-836.” she said.

message 29: by Addison (new)

Addison ((oh. we have testing this week so i’m having spring break in a few weeks so i still have school [im homeschooled] ))

message 30: by Addison (new)

Addison “You got it? Call me when you get home, and have a pen and paper or your contacts address up. I’ll give you my address. Cool?” she asked. Her very curly blond-brown hair was a little frizzy, and her round green eyes were looking into Blake’s.

message 31: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee nodded. “Cool. See you tomorrow, Blake!” she said, and she ran off her hair bouncing. She got in the car and drove off towards home.

message 32: by Addison (new)

Addison ((oh cool :) ))

When Journee got home, she threw her backpack on the floor of her bedroom and jumped on her bed. She waited for Blake to call or text her. She watched tiktoks as she waited.

message 33: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee accepted his call, and put her airpods in. She lay her phone down on the table, and pulled a blanket over her body. “Hey, Blake. You ready to right down my address?”

message 34: by Addison (new)

Addison ((*write))

message 35: by Addison (new)

Addison “Okay.” she said, and told him her address. “And remember: this is all in Morris Park. We have a big apartment, but it’s an apartment nonetheless. Got it? Also, I live only with my dad, Ahiga.”

message 36: by Addison (new)

Addison “Well, bye.” she said, ending the call. She bit her lip. She had ADHD too, and it came at the wrong times a lot. She shook it off, then added Blake’s number to her contacts.

message 37: by Addison (new)

Addison ((the next day))

Journee watched Blake through the corner of her eye all throughout her morning classes. At lunch, she laughed with her friends as usual, then at her afternoon classes, she continued watching him sneakily.

message 38: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee saw Blake seeing her. She was on the row beside him. She knew it was the last class of the day, but knew afterwards she’d be tutored by Blake. She blew a curl out of her mouth. She was not focusing on the board, since she couldn’t tell what they’d written, and her ADHD was acting up.

message 39: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee kept her eyes trained on the board until the end of class, then packed up and put her backpack on her back. She walked out of the class room, not wanting Blake to see her blush.

message 40: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee out stuff away in her locker, then walked towards the exit. She turned and yelled, “Bye, Loraine and Dahlia! See y’all tomorrow!” She turned around.

message 41: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee saw him up ahead, but acted like she didn’t care. She got in her car, and drove home. When she got home, she put her backpack up, and looked at the time on her Apple Watch: 4:15. Blake would be here soon. She changed into something more comfortable: (( https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&... )) (( it’s a quilted light blue tank crop top and matching sweatpants ))

Journee took off her shoes and socks, revealing her painted white toenails. Her fingernails were also white, and very long, even though they were real.

message 42: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee stood at the door and waved him in. “Hey.” she said, closing the door behind him.

((i gtg bye))

message 43: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee held back a smile at his smile. She cleared her throat, and tossed her curly hair over her shoulders. “Okay. So. Um. Do you want to do it in my room or the living room? Or even the dining room? Pick one.” she said. She twisted her sun ring on her middle finger.

message 44: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee nodded. “Okay. Follow me .” she said. She led him up the stairs to her room. It was a nice size, but it was an apartment, so not the biggest, either. She pulled out her desk and 2 plush chairs. She sat down on one, patting the one beside her.

message 45: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee bit her tongue from screaming out her frustration at having to do this. It was to hard, she’d never be able to read. But she says nothing. “O-Okay…” she said, her green eyes trying to decipher the nonsense of letters.

message 46: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee looked down at the page. “I, um. I don’t know what that says.” she says, eyes blinking. She had to toughen up!

message 47: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee bit her lip. What would this boy do or say if he found out she has dyslexia? Surely nothing good. “Oh. Oh, right. Sorry… um, yeah.” she told him the answer to a question. She was good at math, if she had someone’s help to read it for her.

message 48: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee took a breath. She grabbed the pen, and started to write the answer, relying on only the feel of the paper. She looked down and saw it was swimming around as usual, but she didn’t know if it was actually in real life or not. Journee looked up at him.

message 49: by Addison (new)

Addison A smile flickered on Journee’s face, then disappeared. “You’re lying.” she sighed. “I know, I suck.” she said. She wouldn’t tell him, she’d just let him come to the conclusion that she was dyslexic.

message 50: by Addison (new)

Addison Journee turned red. “Uh-um… I… um… have dyslexia. I’ve had it, um, since age 4, I think. So all my life. I got diagnosed age 5. It’s very, uh, severe. Glasses never work. Nothing ever works.” she says, eyes downcast. “I, uh, also have ADHD, too. It can get bad. So I, uh, can’t focus or read, so why bother coming to school at all, eh?” she said, then closed her mouth. She said so much to Blake, a guy she found annoying all her life! What was up?!
