Classic collection. The fourth book in the canon and second collection of short stories. While not all of the stories are at the same level, it's the first appearance of Sherlock's brother Mycroft and Sherlock's nemesis Dr. Moriarty, including the shocking conclusion in "The Final Problem". The first story, "Silver Blaze" also introduces "“the curious incident of the dog in the night time”, which was the later inspiration for a book and play.
