Alexander Barrett dies from Alzheimer’s disease. Your thoughts about how the siblings reflected on him as a father?

They all obviously had mixed feeling about their father. He did make it so they were tough, both physically and mentally, but they all regret the fact that he was unable to show love for them in any other way.

It was not a secret through out this series that all the children had issues with their Dad. Being an adult and not being able to resolve that with talking with the parent (due to his illness) is hard. Alzheimer's is hard on everyone involved - add in the Dads prior to diagnosis personality along with his physical disability and there is a lot there to deal with.
