No, I didn't see that one coming. When he cautioned Cheryl about the approaching boat, he did seem to have more of an understanding of what kind of threat they might be experiencing. On the other hand, when I read that Cheryl was also an agent, I thought she seemed too lackadaisical about their approach.
I did not see that coming at all but, then when we find out more about his past and struggles in this book it made sense
He was very much a background character in the previous books and the reader was lead to believe he had drug and behavioural issues from childhood as a distraction. It kind of makes sense that he was undercover and it would be revealed when he is the hero of the book.
