SOLVED. YA Fantasy novel - plot involves a hotel, a teenage ghost girl, and pedophile. [s]

I read a book around 2002-2006 about a teenage girl who befriends a ghost. The ghost is a teenage girl who lived in ... maybe the 1700s or 1800s? and if I remember correctly she died after having a bad abortion. The ghost girl tended to be pretty suspicious of men, so I think maybe the guy who had gotten her pregnant maybe seduced and tricked her?

I think the main character's bedroom was in a hotel that used to be an old house, maybe her room is in the attic? I think her family might own and live in the hotel, MAYBE. And that's where she first meets the ghost.

The main character then meets an adult male who is staying in the hotel, maybe 20 or 30 years old, who is interested in her and wants to photograph her. She agrees to model for him and as the book progresses, the main character meets this guy's girlfriend. The main character thinks they're both really cool and they get her to agree to pose in more and more risque photos, saying the photos are artistic.

The ghost friend keeps saying this guy is trouble and is no good, but the main character ignores her.

Finally the main character meets the photographer guy to shoot a fitness video. He tells her her costume is over yonder, but she gets there and sees it's only a mask and realizes he wants her to do the whole video while nude and starts internally freaking out. The ghost friend appears and pushes the photographer in the nearby river. He's found later, drowned. I think it was deemed an accident, main character doesn't get in any trouble. Ghost girl is never seen again (presumed to be at rest now that she rescued her friend). (hide spoiler)]
