I read this book about 10-15 years ago, cannot remember much except the man realizes he has AIDS after falling in love with a girl. I think he was a medical student, but they may have both been... very sad and thoughtful book.

I found it myself after trawling lists of books about AIDS. Going to read it again as i remeber it being a beautiful but sad story
