Looking for a book I read a few years back ..it was a movie...

I first saw it on YouTube;it was a movie made from a book. I found the book and read it. It was about a married couple where the husband left on a long trip with a young woman that he had his eye on and it looks like they might get together. Meanwhile,the wife is at home drinking wine and gets so drunk she falls and hits her head. It's unclear if she died. Can't remember title. Hope someone knows....
