I read this book when I was in fourth or fifth grade (2008-2010). All I can remember is that there were two siblings and they moved into a new house with their mom and her boyfriend or husband (can't remember which) and they end up finding pictures of his former wives and their finger bones and wedding rings hidden in his house and they have to escape before he kills their mom.
