Young adult with a large mix of mystery and a bit of thriller. Child is looking for her mother and her dad is being evasive but she finds a tunnel that leads to a cave where her mother may have been.

It’s a book I read around 2010-2012. It was about a child who was trying to find out what happened to their missing mother but their dad wouldn’t really say what. She then found a tunnel leading to a cave under their house where there were signs of their mother having been there and I think a plane was there too. Please help!
