I'm going into it blindly. I absolutely no nothing about this book. But the gr rating is so high!! I'm hopeful. When are you starting?

Cash is nice. I'm liking the writing style too

I just started. The writing is much more poetical than I thought it would be. I generally struggle when the authors use too many metaphors. So, can't say I'm a huge fan of the writing style. But I like Cash too

Why do I feel like this prestigious school won't be the new beginning they needed..I am scaring for them. Everyone I know has cried while reading this book. So, I am ready scared. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I love Cash's grandparents. The author portrayed the problems and struggles of a small town beautifully. There are so many amazing quotes! The characters have hidden depth. Loved how Cash despise and love his Mom both at the same time.

Do you think we'll see any kinda romance between Cash and Delaney? I want to but may be we won't get that. However, I believe the main conflict would be something surrounding her. (hide spoiler)]

I'm done with the book. solid 3 stars. Didn't like it as much as I thought. The writing was too flowery for my liking. Couldn't connect with the characters.

(view spoiler)[A big part of the book is all about that mold Delaney discovered. I understand some parts of those but the author focuses too much on that.

Delaney herself is bland and ine dimensional. Was she really supposed to be cool and the best? I didn't think so. Cash was nice enough but still I couldn't bring myself to care. Overall good but not great (hide spoiler)]

I'm done too. I really liked the book. I found it super emotional and inspiring. 4.5 stars for sure.

Watching Cash make the decision to leave and then immediately change the decision after was good too. I thought it was a very hopeful book and i still find it interesting that both Delaney and Cash want to move back to their hometown after they go to college. (hide spoiler)]
