Gillian Webster | 3 comments I'm looking for suggestions: books where the main protagonist fakes their own death and moves somewhere else, setting up a new life where no one knows them. But that new life is threatened when someone comes looking for them. Ideally set in the US in the 90s to early 2000s.

Thank you!!

Moloch | 342 comments There are some things that do not match your request: the main character has no active role in staging his supposed death, it's just a misunderstanding, but he does take advantage of the situation by moving away and starting a new life.

Thanks. I appreciate that additional information. It sounds like an intriguing book nonetheless.
