I would love to put your nomination on the list, Nancy, I really would, but I can't. It was our group read back in March of 2014. We've been reading together since 2010 -- we've read the first books of many series. It's challenging for our newer members. Please do check our group reads bookshelf before you nominate.
I do encourage you to try again Nancy. Maybe there are others interested in reading The Letters as a buddy read...

I also nominate The Amish of Swan Creek Collection by Tattie Maggard
Both of these authors are new to me. Has any one read their books?

I'm sorry, Marge, but only 1 nomination per person per month. Want to save Tattie Maggard's book for May nominations?
Both of the authors are new to me, but I just finished Amity's book and have started #2 in the series, Pine Creek Marriage!

When I clicked on the links above, I came to this: Sorry, you’ve reached the end of the sidewalk.
Where the Sidewalk Ends cover image Shel Silverstein
Yes we’ll walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And we’ll go where the chalk-white arrows go,
For the children, they mark, and the children, they know
The place where the sidewalk ends.
— Shel Silverstein, Where the Sidewalk Ends

Here's what I clicked oN;Please don't nominate a book we have already read. You can see our list of previous group reads here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... or look at the group read's bookshelf here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books... (it includes the Christian group read as well).
Here's what I get for clicking on it: Sorry you lost your way.
Kafka on the Shore cover image Haruki Murakami
Every one of us is losing something precious to us.
Lost opportunities, lost possibilities,
feelings we can never get back again.
That’s part of what it means to be alive.
— Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore

My apologies for the odd landings. Apparently the web addresses changed. The links are both updated and you will find our list and our bookshelf easily. Thank you let letting me know of the problem.

The authors exempt from nomination, since we've already selected one of their books this year, Amanda Flower and Sarah Price, because we make exceptions for novella collections. If you're not sure if your book is eligible for nomination, please leave a comment and one of the moderators will get back to you!
Rules:
1. Any Amish-themed novel is eligible.
2. One nomination per person.
3. If two people nominate the same book, each person's vote counts. So the book will feature twice in the list to give each vote an equal chance.
4. Nominations run until the 14th of the month, with the winner announced on the 15th.
5. The winning book is chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
6. Please don't nominate a book we have already read. You can see our list of previous group reads here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... or look at the group read's bookshelf here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books... (it includes the Christian group read as well).
7. Only nominate the first book in a series UNLESS we have already read #1 (see above link). In this case, #2 is then eligible for nomination!
