I just want to verify A Dance with Fate will work for Read one book of 500+ pages which fits 2 different options. It's on page 11 of the #LoveOzYA list, and Juliet Marillier lives in Perth, Western Australia. I was so bummed, I was trying to find her other book Son of the Shadows on one of the lists, because I finished it today.
Hi Kim, I love Marillier! She definitely qualifies for option 2.However:
1. you've linked to the ebook edition (507p), I'd suggest you'd look carefully which edition you'll be reading & see if it qualifies for the 500+ pages?
2. "A Dance with Fate" is not on page 11. "A Song of Flight" (book 3) is on page 11. I think "A Dance with Fate" would be somewhere in the list so you could look again carefully for the page number?
Wayne wrote: "It's not on your list, but would The Commandant by Jessica Anderson work for Option 2?"Yep, author was born in Australia so definitely work for option 2.
So many Amie Kaufman books on my TBR that would work for the one book option - if she could just write a book on her own for once!!

Can I get Alison Goodman approved for an Austalian female writerHer Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alison_...
Her book The Dark Days Club on page 3 of the Loveozya Books will work for the one book option.

Alison Goodman is approved.
However, I suggest you'd be careful with the editions of the book you are reading. The edition you linked to only has 485 pages... It's a fun read though!!

Thanks, Tien. It's actually on page 12, and the paperback edition has 512 pages! A Dance with Fate. I hate how difficult it is to figure out which edition you're choosing without opening them in a new tab.

I just wanted to stop by and say that the #loveozya book that I chose for this was SO GOOD! And I never would have chosen it without your task - so thanks for introducing me to this! I read Words in Deep Blue and loved it. I enjoy YA books, but sometimes the romances in them are so cringey - this book was done so well.
By option 1, do you mean reading 2 books for 2 different options? No page number requirements for that.
Tien wrote: "By option 1, do you mean reading 2 books for 2 different options? No page number requirements for that."Yes, that's what I meant.
Thanks Tien :)
Would Elf Defence work for Option 2? Lisa Henry is Australian and according to her bio on GR Sarah Honey though born in New Zealand now calls Western Australia home.

The term “Outback,” or “the bush,” defines any part of Australia removed from the more-settled edges of the continent. In other words, it is “out back” from the larger cities that reside on Australia's coasts. The Outback is typified as arid or semiarid, open land, often undeveloped.

A book with multiple authors is acceptable as long as all authors are Australian women.
