20.4 - Golden Oldies - Robin P’s Task: Saluting Brains

Read a book from one of the 3 options. Standard SRC rules apply. Books with the MPG Children’s are excluded.
Required: State the option used.

Option 1: Our theme this quarter is brains, and brains are good at all sorts of learning, not just academics. Read a book from this list of Brainy Books
Required: State the page number on which the book appears.

Option 2: I learn best by means of a story. Much of the history I know is from fiction books. (This can have its drawbacks!) I read a lot of mysteries and romance, but mostly set in the past, when there are no cell phones or internet to make things easy for detection – or love. Some authors deliberately set their books in pre-Internet times to give themselves more story possibilities.

Read a book with MPG History, Historical, Historical fiction, Historical romance, Historical mystery, or Alternate History. The genre may be standalone or embedded.

Option 3: Very brainy people can qualify to join MENSA. Read a book whose author’s initials (all) can be found in MENSA BRAIN.
