Bren Joy is an R&B/Pop artist that has recently released his deluxe album 'Twenties'. Packed with groovy songs such as 'Upper East Side', 'Freezing, and 'Mrs. Jones'--this album fails to miss a beat. My personal favorite song is 'Fiji Fine' because of the fast-paced melodic structure.
As a black artist, Bren Joy is a perfect to listen to during this black history month. His album comments on racial inequality with songs 'When Martin Died' and 'Henny in the Hamptons'. This album is definitely worth listening to, it is my favorite album of 2021. Joy's harmonies, beautiful tenor voice and production will have you up and moving from beginning to end.
