Chapter 5

Cleo: (view spoiler)[ she's very interesting and she has a secret that only aron knows and I wonder what it is and in her chapter I can't believe aron killed the wine sellers son and is claimed a hero in there kingdom and then the dad says she's going to marry aron who is a scum bag (hide spoiler)]

Jonas: (view spoiler)[ he had a short chapter but I felt so bad when his brother Tomas died on there sister wedding night and now Jonas wants to take revenge on the royals and I wonder what he his going to do. (hide spoiler)]

Magnus & Lucia: (view spoiler)[ I think i'm starting to like Magnus I don't know much about Lucia all I know is that there is something going on with her and in the chapter it was her birthday and magnus loves his sister but not in the way he should and he finds something when his father and his mistress talk about his sister I wonder what's going on there. The watchers: (view spoiler)[ They are a cool kind because they stay in a tower but to watch everybody they change into hawks which is really cool but they were trying to find something named the kindred but now there keeping a watch on Lucia. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 10

Jonas: (view spoiler)[ in his chapter he was going to cross the border into Auranos and kill aron and Cleo but then his best friend interrupted him to say have some common sense and lets do it how your brother wanted it. (hide spoiler)]

Cleo: (view spoiler)[ She's been having nightmares about Tomas death and then her father announces that she's going to be engaged to Aron and then she's goes speaks to him privately and we find out that she lost her virginity to Aron and I hate him so much and then we find out her sister fell in love with Theon's dad and she's sick and Cleo is trying to find a cure for her. Magnus & Lucia: (view spoiler)[ so we get one small tidbit in Lucia and her brother comes into the room and I love there relationship because their funny and everything but what she doesn't know is her brother has more than brotherly feelings and also while Magnus was in a meeting with his father and other people the King killed Tobias and I was shocked about that and the king told Magnus to watch over her sister. Chapter 15

Lucia &Maguna: (view spoiler)[ she's been waiting for Magnus to come home to tell him something but then Sabina came to talk to her and was saying that if she's hiding something she could always come to her and talk but then Magnus came home and got her a pet bunny. Also during Magnus chapter he finds out that Lucia has magical powers and decide to teach her how to control her magic (hide spoiler)]

Cleo: (view spoiler)[ So after she went to go talk to her dad about letting go to Jonas hometown because her sister said that there was a witch how had these magical seeds and he said no so she went to her room and her lied to Theon that she wasn't going and wait two days but then she woke up early and someone knew she was lying and that was Nic. Jonas: (view spoiler)[ it took him over to month to meet the chief and finally did it by meeting with his daughter who's a dancer who dances with snakes and she fell in love with him but he not in love with him and then the chief was saying how there is going to be a war between the two the two northern countries and the southern one too and the last thing The chief said to Jonas was don't hurt my daughter. Theon: (view spoiler)[ so the king was yelling at him because he let his daughter sneak out and then he was telling him how he was younger he met a witch who was destined to be his queen but then he met Cleo and Emilia mom and the witch cursed him and all these things starting happening and then he told Theon to go find his daughter and we find out that he is falling in love with Cleo just like his father and Emilia. Chapter 20

Magnus: (view spoiler)[ Magnus was called by his father too the throne room to talk about his sister and found strange things in the process on how his sister is a sorceress and not a witch and also how Sabina and her sister found her that night. We also find out that Sabina is a witch and his father knows his secret. The next few days Sabina comes to Magnus room and offers him to be his mistress and he declines and Lucia comes into the room and stuff happens and Lucia kills Sabina and her father sees and is proud of her. Cleo: (view spoiler)[ As Cleo and Nic are on there journey they keep asking people about the exile witch and then they get robbed and have no place to stay and this kind women offers them a place and tells the story of the exile watcher Eva and how she fell in love and stole the kindred and her sisters found out and she got pregnant and there was this battle and that's why the watcher try to find the kindred because they don't want something like that to happen again. Jonas: (view spoiler)[ His chapter is very short because the kind women had a grand-daughter who went to Jonas and told him someone who looked like the princess had come into town and then Jonas went off to the king to tell him and decide Cleo fate should be. (hide spoiler)]

The watcher: (view spoiler)[ the watcher that has been watching Lucia know something and finally found out what she is and has the power of the Kindred but he felt the need to protect Lucia at any cost. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 25

Jonas: (view spoiler)[ So he went to Sera's grandmother house and saw that it was actually Cleo and he went to the chief and asked what should we do and the chief said let's use her so the king can surrender and it will be easier to take her, so when he goes to capture her, she puts up a fight and then Jonas learns more about her that he didn't know and when he met her father he got a different feeling too and then when they left king Corvin said something about his brother that made him feel something. (hide spoiler)]

Cleo: (view spoiler)[ So as Cleo and Nic were on there way back Jonas comes in the way and tries to threaten Nic life if she doesn't come with him and when he took her they had a long conversation about his brother and her sister and then he dropped her at his sister house and said in four days someone would come for her, well that someone is Magnus but then Theon came before and he told her that she loved him and they kisses (which I was happy) but then Magnus shows up and I see a romance going on between them soon enough and he kills Theon and Nic knocks out Magnus and takes Cleo back to the ship. Magnus: (view spoiler)[ so we find out that his sister is adopted into the family and she doesn't know that yet and he found out from his mother and he was mad that Lucia didn't know and she's been practicing with a tutor who is not well equipped like Magnus was and he hasn't seen her which he doesn't like and now he is knocked out in a forest somewhere. Chapter 30

Magnus: (view spoiler)[ He told Lucia that he had feelings for her and she didn't feel the same and that broke his heart and felt different when he killed Theon but then when Amia was captured for eavesdropping he sent her away too be safe so I think he still has the goodness in his heart even though it hurts. (hide spoiler)]

Cleo: (view spoiler)[ When she returned to the palace she was heart-broken when Theon died that when her sister came into the room too comfort her she started cry and talking and that made her feel better and when they were camped outside of the border Aron and his family were staying inside the castle and then Nic was being funny I laughed cause we was making fun of Aron and it was hilarious but Cleo went to her father and asked what she needed to do and he just said go be with your friends and sister and everything will be alright. (hide spoiler)]

Lucia: (view spoiler)[ So when she was walking around the castle the queen came and talked to her and we learned more about her past how she couldn't have children and when she got Lucia she treated her as her own but she felt like she was acting more like her mother than she should so then the king called her to the throne room and asked her if she wanted to join the fight and she agreed because she loved Magnus no matter what. Jonas: (view spoiler)[ so while there waiting for the war to start Jonas best friend Brion was making jokes on how the chief daughter is waiting for him to return home safely as a joke but then he was thinking on how his brother would think about this and then he thought how he hate all royals now. What happeneds: (view spoiler)[ so much stuff happened like with Cleo her family dies like her sister died from her illness and than her dad got stabbed and he gave her a gift saying to go find the kindred and save there kingdom and I cried a little bit. Jonas I love him he is a killer and he thought he was doing this for his country but then the king of blood comes and kills there chief and he realise that he has to do something and he contacts Cleo to say we will be in touch and everything I can't wait to see what's in store with him. Lucia through out the last few chapter she has been in a coma and hasn't woken up yet but hopefully in the next book she gets better. Finally Magnus I felt so bad for him after all the stuff he has been through on how his sister rejected him and how he had to kill so many people and I kind of see something going on with him and Cleo.
