I think they all do! I would not have thought steampunk would work, but the description indicates it the computer age arrives a century early.

Ok good, now.... which to choose! Yes, I read the description carefully before proposing The Difference Engine.

A note about the background for this task: This is the 10th Anniversary of our using the scorekeeping database. It was developed during the Spring 2012 season. When RwS started, Sam and Krista (and later Liz M and Kate, too) kept score on a spreadsheet. There was no way to retain information about books a couple of you might read in one season and others the next season or even later. And combos were a headache! Many points were missed along the way.

I think I can safely say we could not have included the variety of styles and tasks without it. Now, Kate and I might drive the engine, but without that engine we would likely have given up.

Thanks, Rosemary. He enjoyed putting it together for us. I think he would be very pleased we're still using it (he even mentioned it should be good for 5 years!).

Ah, I was about to ask if a book from Millennium series would qualify but it's on the Hackers list so yay!!
